What did you do with your 4runner today?

Went to the woods and chopped up a bunch of firewood. Strapped it to the WMW roof rack. Then I picked up a bushel of steamed blue crab and drove to my buddies house where we picked crab, grilled some burgers and dogs with some beers and ended the day with some smores over the giant log fire.
 
Got a bunch of work done in preparation for Linex!

had a bushel and a half over the last three days (not personally). i would never get sick of them
 
Finished installing the passenger side of my front component speakers...day's like today really make me want a garage. Not something you should do with 100 degree blazing sun shining down on you, not to mention with extra light I would be able to knock off the other side tonight instead of waiting until next weekend. Also bit and ordered the kenwood 891hd which should go in next weekend as well.

Dropped the 4Runner off at my local shop for an oil change and to have them check out the rear pads and rotors. I love these guys. I told them I had the front pads and rotors replaced by another shop. I knew the fronts were warped to shit, but then they told me the rear were shot too. I didn't believe them because 1) I didn't feel anything close to warped rear rotors when I drove it and 2) they tried to tell me "its really tough to tell when the rears are warped." Lets all agree that's 100% false.

I just called and got the update. Rear pads and rotors have more than 50% life left in them. Moral of the story, find a reliable shop that isn't out to gouge you.
