I got the Tepui Ayer in blue from a local TW member for a great deal!
It's 4'x7'x3.25' (WxLxH) when assembled, so it should fit me and the girl quite well!
It was too good of a deal to pass up
My only concern is putting a 100lb tent plus two occupants on the stock roof rack cross bars. Anyone run an RTT with the stock rack? Any input?

or i might throw on my toyo tech coils
only have maybe 500 miles on these brand new cvs
but i did notice yesterday that they were getting deep grooves in the fins from touching....i just dont understand why i ran the same cvj axles on my taco with the exact same coils, set at the exact same setting'oh well
i will pull these out and replace with my spare cheapo axle and reboot them with better boots then throw them back in
i am just tired of ripping out the front end already
and i had the clamps to do the boot slide mod today, but guess i didn't get to it in time

I have seen it done with the addition of Thule/Yakima load bars.
The roof rack is rated for ~250# if I recall correctly. I don't know how much you & your girl weigh, but if it is more than 200# combined I am not sure I would trust the rack. Since the truck would not be moving when the tent is in use I suspect you could be ok with the 100# tent + 200# of people.

I plan on a WMW rack at some point, so I should be ok

I can't blame you there, especially for being one of the more cost efficient mods! It's hard to tear up the grille though because I actually think it looks pretty good! Some better than others depending on the car but if they made some out of black plastic like the f-150s that would look great to me.

pretty sure factory rack is rated for 165lbs
might be 120 also but i dont have the specs in front of me
100lb tent + 250lbs of people + gear = idk

I misspoke earlier. The rack is actually rated fir 165# I just found the reference in my manual. The 165# is safe fir driving around. The static number would be higher. The 250# I referenced was from a conversation I was reading about the FJ rack with Yakima load bars.
