Just ordered up a Gobi Ladder. :reddance:

Really easy and the lady I was talking to was nice. She said that the ladder will ship some time this week so I should be expecting it in the next week or so.

I exercised my lifetime Firestone alignment this morning at 0700. She drives 100% better (everything was in the red after replacing my LCA's) though I am getting a little more rubbing on the mudflaps now.

Did a little fishing today.

Cool story: While fishing I watching something odd swimming in the water that I thought may have been a seal from a distance. As I continued to watch it, it swam towards me crossing the inlet effortlessly. As it got closer it turned out to be a Deer?! Deer swim? deer swim well? lol ...

Anyway it tried to jump up on the rocks to climb out and slipped into a hole between the rocks and was stuck. Certain slow death for this uninjured animal. Now If I had a gun and wouldn't go to jail. It probably would be venison for everyone.

But I didn't so I decided to gather up some people and rescue it with my ARB recovery strap. Threw it around the its head and 8 of us spent about a half hour eventually able to pull it out of the rocks. then it rolled around in the sand and kicked the tow strap off its head. and ran off. Didn't catch any fish on outgoing tide.

Are those center caps custom? I didn't know there were TRD center caps which fit in the Level 8 Guardian wheels.

Ya, they are cnc cut aluminum 5.25in rounds with Allen bolt holes at 4.75in apart just like the stock Level 8 center caps. Then powder coated and TRD stickered. Hated the look with the stock center caps and no center caps. Cost me a total of $40.

Window tint done. 20% overlay over all the back windows. 35% on driver and passenger door. 70% solar shield ceramic tint on entire windshield, 5% strip. The windshield barely looks tinted, but the ceramic tint knocks out a ton of glare and UV rays.

Yep. Rugged Terrain. OEM size, 265/65R17. So far, with about 10miles on them, I like them. They obviously ride better than the Michelin CrossTerrain's, that had 45-50K on them. That said, that is probably the least amount of miles I have ever gotten on Michelins. Today was a nasty weather day, so windows were up so I didn't get a good listen at road noise, but they didn't seem much louder than the CrossTerrains, just a different pitch.

Tires were $210 each (included mounting balancing, TPMS, etc) plus another $29 for Road Hazard protection.
