What did you do with your 4runner today?

Bilstein/FJ lift complete! I used Moog FJ springs and bilsteins at 1.75. What a difference! My XREAS wasn't leaking but a spin around the block with these shocks proves the Xreas was cooked anyways. I also had a seized right lower camber adjuster and needed a new bushing on my front swaybar.

Whole Nine Yards. There's also a Whole Ten Yards. Bruce Willis still kicks ass in these movies, but just a tad silly. I liked them.

If this goes well for you, I know what my next mod will be... getting rid of the DAC switch.

2 way remote start

My T4R only came with a sub key. So instead of paying $200 for a new master key, I got a remote start. After starting engine with the remote, I can use a non-chipped key to turn ignition to ON position and drive. I'm thinking of just leaving the non-chipped key in the car. What do you think?

Been thinking about it for a while, and finally made the decision to put my 4Runner up for sale today. It's been great to me for the year I've owned it but I realize long term I'd rather have a Land Cruiser with a v8.
I probably won't be officially trying to sell it until the spring because I need it for the winter months, but money talks so if anyone is interested PM me.

Hate to see this but good luck with the sale. It's hard to find fault in moving to a Land Cruiser....I've been toying with this same move lately especially since I'm no longer using the 4Runner as a daily driver.

If/when you get the land cruiser - please post up or link to your new build if you start modifying it!

I'll keep this same build thread for my wife's 4Runner (since I have a bunch of parts in the basement for mine that will get installed on hers now...) and sprinkle in random updates on my new to me LC whenever I find one...
