Off roading on the snow covered trails with all season tires... Like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
While backing down the hill I slid off to the right into the trees. Locked the centre diff, did a little digging and was able to crawl out without going further into the trees. Photos never do justice to the real angle of hills... It was steep.
FYI - if you put your parking break on lightly while backing down slippery hills it helps keep the truck strait... The front breaks won't over power the rear as bad. Remembered this after I slid off but it worked great for the rest of the descent.

Drove the 4Runner out to pick up a PTO 6' Auger for the Kubota...the guy I bought it from was super impressed it fit inside the truck.

Thanks [MENTION=107473]philskeeter[/MENTION] I was able to pop them right off with just a flat head screwdriver.
I installed new axles from CVJ. After install I noticed my boots were in a terrible position
If I would of left them as is the boots would of been toast fast! Basically you take off the inner clamp, slide the boot out some so the ribs do not touch, and install a new clamp. Easy as pie, took all of 20 minutes because I used a jack to get the tire off the ground to spin the axle so the clamp was in an accessible position to remove.
New much better angles

I hate it when pictures don't show up for me... I'm curious did you get the red boots? (again I can't see the pictures) and are you sliding the boot out on the inner or outer boot? feel free to pm me in response

I am thinking i might PD them to see how i like them in person. If i like them enough i might have them powder coated. If i have them PC'd i can flip the tires when they are remounted. The black will go better with some upcoming changes.....:bluejump:
Fastest I hit according to my GPS was 122. I'd had enough at that point. Lol. It was still climbing surprisingly fast. I think there is a governer, not sure where though. Can't imagine driving these around at 130mph+ !!!

Haha 122? That's a solid number. I didn't have my GPS up but I might have to next time. I have a huge stretch of flat open road about 15 mins from me. Around midnight its empty so I might have to see what I can get it up to sometime. When I hit the brakes last night I still had at least a mile or two of open road so there's plenty of room to stretch her legs

-Daystar 1" front spacer kit $37 on ebay
-New in box Toytec superflex rear 2" coils from the same guy for $120
-Rear Bilstein 5100's from https://autoplicity.com/ for $149 including tax and shipping.
Hopefully have some free time after Thanksgiving to put everything in
