What did you do with your 4runner today?

Nearly got stuck in the middle of nowhere (Hot Springs, NC) with no cell service and nobody in sight. We parked off the side of a gravel road for a short hike up to a backwoods waterfall near Max Patch that I heard about. I didn't realize at the time, but I was parking in a leaf-covered mud hole. After about 5 minutes of full throttle wheel spinning, we finally got out. The wife drove while I guided and shoved rocks under the tires. It made for a fun trip!
Time for some better tires!!!
Should be easy to talk the wifey into it now.

Recently sold the OME 895E rear coils I bought a year ago but never installed and bought myself a set of Radflo 2" coils.
Eventually I'll get around to installing the smorgasbord lift I have in the basement...
I am in no rush though since the XREAS hasn't started to leak yet and don't have the free time right now to do any substantial offroading.

Was seriously considering it but decided to committ to mine for the next 6-8 years and let the wife get the 2008&up LC, LX or GX as her next vehicle next year. Then I'll inherent that for my new (to me) build when she wants a new vehicle after that.

after hearing my brakes squealing at the Uwharrie trail ride this past weekend, I went over tonight to my Father-in-Laws to use his shop and I installed all new disk brake pads. Still have to change the parking brake pads... stops on a dime now.

Getting all new rotors and ceramic pads installed this weekend, gotta stop and pick up a hardware set for my front calipers. Praying none are seized :faint2:

Unwrapped the new hub/bearing assemblies from [MENTION=100129]nj636[/MENTION]. Just waiting on seals and some time to throw them on. Thanks again to Kevin for great product and fast shipping!

UP's man delivered my 255's (cooper st maxx!) So I dropped them of at my local tire shop and had them put on my fj steelies I will be running. Now just waiting on my 5100's! Sorry for the large pics, stupid phone! I gotta decide what color to paint those steelies too.
