It was much worse (relatively) north of Monument Pass, but still well within the 4Runner's capabilities. Total confidence driving from Castle Rock to Cheyenne Mtn. HS. Sure, I use mine as a soccer-mom mall-crawler but I never have to worry about weather.

Finally got rid of the low profile tires that were on my 04 when I bought it, and replaced them with a brand new set of wheels and tires off an 04 FJCruiser that I got at a steal! LOVE the look of these, and it tracks SO much better than the old tires.


These are 265/70R17's which is what I wanted, but man they sure don't leave much room underneath for anything but the stock size spare!

Yesterday actually. First mod for the 2015 Trail... I had a set of BORA hub-centric 1.25" wheel spacers that I had installed on the Tacoma. Toyota tucks the OEM wheels in quite a bit. I feel like these brought the tires out to where they should be. Better stance and it feels more stable. Yes, she was a little frosty this morning!

Just got these in the mail! Waiting on my seat heaters to come tomorrow before I tackle this project. Not pictured is the rear armrest cover and black leather door panel inserts. We'll see if I ever feel like tackling the door panels. I'm very impressed with Leatherseats.com so far. Only took 2 weeks to get them. Quality of the leather is awesome. I went with the deluxe package which is leather facings with vinyl sides and backs. Very happy with the color, it's a pretty good match for the BMW Coral red. I'll post up progress pictures in my build thread once I get started.

Yesterday me and a friend installed my 5100's and fj springs. Today I got my FJ steelies painted up and hope to get a coat of clear on them soon so I can get them on!! I set the 5100's to 1.75, the ride and handling is great, now just need a spacer for the rear to get rid of the reverse rake! Pics to come!

I used the burger tray! It's the perfect size for holding a box of chicken nuggets. It catches at 45 degrees to perfectly cradle the box of nuggets and keep it from sliding off, or it can fold flat for larger burgers. Chicken nuggets are perfect for snacking on at red lights. op2:

Scheduled an appointment for this Thursday to hopefully remedy the thunk I hear when going over small bumps....thinking its the rt rear bushings, but couldn't for sure say.
