Just got done changing the plugs and doing a coolant drain/refill w/ Toyota SLL. Bought a case of Toyota WS ATF the other day so I'll be changing that this weekend most likely unless our son decides to make his grand entrance into this world.

Upgraded my tires, and got an alignment. Hated to get rid of the almost new tires that came on my truck but they just weren't aggressive enough for my needs/wants. Hopefully I can sell the Uniroyals locally and recoup some of the expenditure.

When removing the X-REAS, once of the check-valves didn't "check" and fluid blew out. I had been hoping to recoup some of my costs through selling the X-REAS. Now that one of the shocks has blown, are they worth anything?

First, I think your question belongs somewhere else...certainly not in this guys thread.

Second, a 8-9 year old XREAS is worth nothing anyway. The likelihood of getting any appreciable money for it is very very low.

Just junk it and move on.

"this guys thread"?? What guy? This is a general "what did you do to your 4th gen" thread. People talk about all sorts of issues and questions related to what they're doing with their 4th Gens in here.

Actually, as CookieRoe said, intact they are worth a fair bit. A lot of people who don't go off-road really like the X-REAS and you can't replace the fluid if they leak so replacement is the only way to go.

Turbo, supercharger, and V8! One of the other guys made a point. Toyota saves the bigger motors for the lexus. They want you to pay for that premium motor!
