Swapped out my blown 3.5" Infinity Coaxials from my front door tweeter locations. My friends talked me into not using bass blockers, and I never got around to hooking up my highs amp with crossovers, so I blew these, and replaced them with a new set, and used bass blockers this time.

Did a couple things this weekend...
Whipped up a hitch mount tire carrier in preparation of a trip. It'll have to do till I can build a rear bumper/tire carrier.

Finally painted and mounted up my RCI skids

And last but not least, replaced my right front hub that was on its way out.

Put on some Spidertraxx spacers on the rear. Over the weekend I put these on though. Only 8 broken bolts. Had to get some other hardware and spacers to make it fit.

Last weekend I got my truck stuck in a mud hole. Its one of those holes that looks JUST like all the other 12" deep mud holes.... but is about 30" instead.

I believe the plugs in the floorboard on the passenger side allowed muddy water in.

I thought it was going to be a easy clean up. But when I pulled up the carpet....

And this isn't just plain ole muddy water. It's funky ass muddy water. My truck smells like a swamp. So for about two hours last night I was cleaning the Jute with a carpet cleaner my wife has. It sprays water then you vacuum it back out. I'm amazed how much fluid that Jute can hold. I used a watered down bleach mixture with a spray bottle and then vacuumed that up too, hopefully that will stop anything funky from growing under there.

Anyhow, after letting a fan blow on it for a few hours it was 98% dry, so I put it all back together.

Cleaned these too... as best as I could...

Moral of the story, no more mud for this guy. I'm taking the dry road.

picked up an 07 overhead console with homelink buttons and OEM mic for a great deal to go with my e7009. i will be installing red LEDs into the e7009 tonight.

just need a few plugs, but after that i'll have an OEM e7009 nav with red buttons, handsfree phone setup and a backup camera for under $100 after i flip all my old stuff!!
