What did you do with your 4runner today?

I washed and waxed it two days ago and drove it to work today. Noticed that the a/c was blowing warm on the driver side and cold on the passenger side today in which I did some searching on the forum and many post stated that the a/c actuator had to be replaced. I contacted my mechanic and said the same thing which will cost me over $300.00:Cry: Now I wish I didn't have dual climate control, now I'll have to put my lift mod on the back burner again!!!

I've only had it for a day so I will keep you posted. Its the 4000nex. It's really responsive and the screen is high quality. It's really customizable and install was a breeze, including wiring factory steering wheel controls. Apple CarPlay is a really cool feature. Need to get more hours with it.

Installed my [MENTION=93512]MojaveMadMan[/MENTION] "style D" light bar. Now I just have to decide on lights...



I'm thinking two pods on the outer tabs in a "flood" pattern and then a 12-14" bar in the center in "spot". Just have to find the bar that has adjustable underneath mounts. Anyone have a suggestion for which Amazon brand bar to go with?

Yeah keep me posted, looks like I'm gonna have to pull the trigger soon. Its a good looking unit!

Edit: Did you add a bypass so the dvd function can be used while in motion/not in park?

I left the parking break line unplugged. the only time I can see myself using the dvd option is when I'm sleeping in my car and I'll need to do the dual battery mod first.

As I understand it's a simple 20 dollar plug in mod though. Or a simple switch install.

It's a really nice unit. I would recommend it!
 
Bought black Plasti dip for the roof rack....and Plasti dipped my old rusty trailer hitch instead for practice. worked great. $2 paint job beats new shiny $30 hitch.
 
Just had my FJ wheels powder coated. They look great! Going to get my duratrac 275/55r17's installed later today hopefully. Also ordered the black trd center caps for them. It's all coming together.
