Had a old Rocksford fosgate 12" shallow mount sub and amp lying around so I decided to install them. Happy with fit and sounds, the extra bass is nice and it doesn't take up a ton of space so that's a plus!
4/25/15 Bald Mountain trail run
Finally got the chance to test out the 285 75 16 duratrac. And I must say I am impressed, even the buddies were impressed by the performance of my 2005 4runner with 285 75 16 duratrac. There were plenty of snow at bald mountain today. Enough to turn away a several off roader. I must say I was kinda nervous going with these guys. Come on, they got 35" and 36" tires. I actually did very well. I was keeping up and did even better then two of my buddies 85 4runner. The toyota truck did the best but come on, he got 36" super swapper with front and rear locker. Lets just say I am very pleased with the duratrac and 4th gen 4runner. It did very well on snow icy road and rock. Psi drop down to 10 for the run.

Removed the plastidip from the rear bumper cover and hood. (still have to remove the plastidip from the front bumper cover this week as time permits)

Covered the gear position indicator housing with some carbon fiber. When the sun hits the silver colored housing in my '07 just right, then it comes up underneath my sunglasses and into the eyes. During a bicycle ride several years ago some debris lodged itself in my eye and then caused a severe infection. Signs of the infection took months to go away and since then the eye is very sensitive to anything bright whether it is direct or a reflection. Problem solved.

Damn man. You could of screwed and bent sub bracket behind the box, then slid box in and screw to box. Would of looked a bit cleaner. That bracket seems like an after thought. Well, atlas you have the bass now. Lol.

Haha yeah it was a last min thing to hold it and keep it from moving around and just figured i would use that existing hole that was there. I'll pry fab up something a little cleaner when i get more time, plus this weekend it's all going to be pulled out again while i'm finishing up my cargo drawers. In the mean time it sounds good to have a little extra bump in the trunk:thumb3:

When we were on vacation in FL a few weeks ago my friend wanted to dig up some palms he had in his yard. We ended up just pulling them out as well. Saved several hours of digging....:thumb3:
