What did you do with your 4runner today?

Fit some 315/70/17 BFG All Terrain KOs today after work. Barely fit required minimum trimming of the front bumper and moved splash shield up an inch. So very happy. Didn't think they'd fit.

Edit: you'll be losing those mud flaps too after you flex it out some, or you have a helluva lot more lift than me. Lol

With no body lift?! And here I am wondering if I need one to fit 34's. That looks good, stuffs them fender wells. Flex it and it will tear your shit up probably

Haha. Thanks. Feels good so far. I know! I can get just a few sheets of paper between them and the back tires. I probably won't get too many chances to flex living by coastal Florida.

No body lift. Just the daystar and fj springs all around. I thought I'd need spacers and body lift as well but it just fits. Crazy huh? Best part is the tires and wheels were free. It's been a good week for me.

Started refinishing an old first aid cabinet to use for a truck cabinet. A little bigger than I thought so it may end up as a lockbox inside a set of cargo area drawers.

Another milestone today. Need to change out all the diff fluids again, oil change, maybe rotate tires before our big 2 week trip. But first dropped it off at my neighbors welding shop to fab up cross bars for my WM rack and put on my windfairing I made! Whoop whoop. Loving every mile in this vehicle

Replaced my NAPA 75 battery at exactly 4 years old today.
Went to a couple stores on errands, no problem. Then at last stop, it was completely dead when trying to crank up and go home.

Not enough juice to honk (well, a slight noise that quit real quick) or even shift out of park.

Well, that's better than the 5 months that my Toyota dealer battery lasted.

Stereo Problems-JBL & Aftermarket

I've been having problems with my TYTO interface since day 1. Within the last month the ASWC has gone tits-up twice. I plugged in the stock stereo to see if the steering-wheel controls worked, and lo and behold they did. So I just ripped everything out & went back to the stock JBL system. I didn't reconnect my DICE iPod adapter though.

I thought the stock JBL speakers were tolerable, at the very least. Now I'm thinking . . meh. I'm going to rip out everything and start over at some point this summer.

I need to get back to modding my E88 135i during the winter, and the 4Runner during the summer. The problem is I always want to work on the vehicle I'm driving. Right now it's top-down season. :car:

edit: oh, and I also tossed in a new cabin-air filter. I'm going with the non-charcoal now as I feel like it's less of a restriction on airflow. Whether or not I'm right . . . let me know.
