Did the diff breather mod..pretty easy I just had a hell of a time fishing the line through the rubber around the fuel filler neck. Also thinking real hard about mounting my 285/70/17 terra grapplers and running those for a few months while saving for 285/70/17 ko2's or maybe 285/75/70 toyo at2 extremes. My only worry is there's not a ton of tread... What do yall think? Nothing wrong with the Mtr's I just want bigger :hungry:

I would say keep the ones that still have tread on them and not the dry rotted low tread bigger tires.

can you post a picture of the rear of the back seat? is it fully covered or partially. i had gt covers and didn't like the way it velcro-ed to the back.

Swapped out the Metra aswc out to an idatalink maestro sw, so far it's working better than the old steering wheel control. Hook up is pretty simple. I was considering the Pac controlpro5, anyone had good luck with other steering wheel control module besides metra? I do like the option to use the pc to configure the buttons.
The ASWC is a decent piece, but love the maestro. Programing on the pc is real nice. Haven't had a single issue with either though, manually programing of the aswc can be a bit annoying especially if you want to have dual functions. The maestro is more responsive and a nicer piece imo. The ControlPRO is pretty cool with the different ways to program, but the maestro, to me, is quicker and easier.

back to 4th gens, anyone use anything other than a stock replacement rotor? mine are absolutely ruined and will be needing new ones

Actually haven't got to the back yet, because it has been raining really hard. I just put the fronts on. I think NYC Runner has pics of his posted in his build thread that show how they are on.

LOL.
I've used Centric rotors with good success. They are the company behind the performance-oriented StopTech brakes, and their OEM-grade products are high quality.
I just recently retrofitted 5th gen front brakes and I used Centric calipers as well as rotors, and those seem to be of excellent quality, too.

Sure thing! I've also had good success with Napa premium rotors in the past, but I've never used them on the 4Runner since I get the Centric rotors via Amazon Prime.
