What did you do with your 4runner today?

Scion head unit came today, can't wait to put it in tomorrow. In time for my road trip thankfully

Changed my oil and got my lab sample ready. Now I'm nervous to see what they find.

Got a chance to flex out the new coilovers and I'm still making contact somewhere. I'll have to cycle the suspension this weekend and see where it's binding. I suspect it's still the coil and the uniball cup which wouldn't be too difficult to fix I'lll just need to rotate the spring until it clears. Worst case scenario I'll be looking into limit straps.

You have the JBL OEM system or the base model system? Interested as I have been looking at a different factory head unit, but wasn't sure on the scion model no.

Flushed out some yucky power steering fluid and added some new.

I was never a big fan on the silver valences on the front and back. Got a can of duplicolor and clear, and painted them. I had some fun with plasti dip in a few spots too.
Also did a 3m headlight restore since they were getting a bit cloudy.

I'd rather the strap take the brunt of the force than any other suspension component. If its not the uniball hitting the coil its the uniball cup hitting the spindle which IMO is just as bad. I can get straps set up for like $150 and be able to dial them in exactly where they need to be.

Search "scion head unit" on the forum, someone put a pretty sweet master list of the HU's and their features etc. Idk the part number off hand, I'm at work, but it's model T1809.
