Finally got my head unit installed with backup camera as well as upgraded the stock sub to an 8" JL. Sounds great and very happy with it!

Did a PS reservoir fluid exchange with Redline D6 ATF. I bought a baster to do it, but forgot how small the hole is. I used the hand pump I used before and returned the baster.

Which JL sub did you get? did you replace the stock amp as well? I will be getting the stock amp/sub enclosure from a friend in trade for the pocket that goes in the non jbl equipped trucks. He has a bigger sub in a box, so has no need for the smaller sub and the enclosure. I'm looking to upgrade the stock components before wiring it to my head unit.

Made an interesting discovery today. My radar detector's cord kind of hangs over my head unit and it was rubbing the trim around my clock/information screen. Underneath the black trim was 2003-2005 Limited Trim colored plastic, wtf! I wonder how much more of the black plastic is actually Limited Trim color??
Adhesive remover works wonders! I have the 3m aerosol can, just dissolves it like you wouldn't believe!
So far I've removed the center caps and used WD40 on them since someone stole my brand new bottle of googone at work... I have yet to do the wheels. I'm definitely not looking towards removing it from the wheels lol.
I've heard WD40 works too, haven't tried though. Peel as much as possible first too. Also, if you redo them make sure you put that stuff on thick! If you didn't the first time. They say 4-6 coats, I found more is good.
i originally put on like 3 coats, ive peeled about 85% off one wheel so far, gonna peel the rest later when i get a break from work. i soaked the center caps in WD40 and that did most of the trick. doing the rest of the wheels is gonna be fun... said noone ever!!!
Where'd you find that o-ring? Mine is toast!
Got the seal and pressed my new bearing assembly together. Wasn't bad at all! Now just waiting on that pesky oring tomorrow and I'll have my runner back!
