What did you do with your 4runner today?

I got out of work early so I decided to hit the trails

So I decided to change my tires. I went from 305/65-17 KM2 to 285/70-17 KO2. I wanted the 285/75-17 KM2 but they were too close to my sliders. I'm not entirely sure I like the way it looks what do you all think??

Looks great. Which shop in Nor Cal?

I'm new to this so I cant start threads yet but im buying 2015 sr5 wheels tomorrow and cannot find a picture anywhere with these installed. Anyone know of a thread to see these or better yet have a ride of their own to show me? been searching for hours...

Forgot to mention it when I posted but if you didn't know , The TRD center caps fit in those level 8 wheels you have

Hey thanks for the help. I had been in the first thread before but they weren't the exact wheels, the trail wheels are close and look awesome but the pic in the second link, top right photo, is what I cant find anyone having, and is what im getting brand new on craigslist for $800 with factory bridgestone tires with 75 miles total on them (good deal you think?). The photoshop photo helps alot though, thanks for that man!

Just got done with my 4runner's first road trip. Just around 1000 miles all said and done from hanging out up in Northern California with friends and family. Only thing I would do different is put the front sway bar back on as she gets a little tippy going around curves at 80 mph.

Also had this waiting for me when I got home:

Install starts tomorrow. Metal Tech bump stop extensions, extended brake lines, and LT medium springs to go with the Icons I picked up.

Now I can begin work on my new Dually fog light mounts. These will be of similar function/form to my rear bumper LED cube mounts, so keep an eye out for a new dedicated thread.

I don't know why I didn't go with these over the Superflex originally, they're ridiculously close in price.

I put a new axle seal on the GX after somehow compromising mine on the trails last Sunday. All zerks also got greased and are well fed now.

I finished mounting my CBI front bumper yesterday. Had some difficulty getting it into place, but seems ok now. I then tried to take the rear bumper off to install my new one and broke off the first 3 bolts I tried..... Time to take it to the body shop....

Installed Icon shocks/coils from the black friday sale through Total Automotive Performance. Still need to adjust the front up a bit, going to see if the rear settles any first.

took all me seats out and attacked with a vacuum then bissell little green. I'm religious about cleaning it but the water was still black when i was done

Got the new gear installed (with the exception of the brake lines, didn't feel like dealing with brake fluid and bleeding today) Initial first impressions on road are awesome. No driver side lean compared to the Superflex. No banging when I nailed speed bumps. Actually feels like it's hugging the road better and doesn't feel as stiff as the SF did.

Metal Tech LT Medium springs vs SF Medium springs. Despite the length difference, the lift looks exactly the same. I didn't measure before and afters.
