Nice! My old man did the same thing when I got my license. Said he wanted something "new and fun".....ended up with a Black 2011 4Runner Limited lol.

Got the glove box light out. But there was not one in the kit i ordered. It was burnt out and it's Much smaller than the ones I received.

No kidding, he was actually bummed when I told him he would be getting my 4Runner a couple months back. But that was before I installed the 5100, FJ coils, rims and bigger tires. He's playing it off. Heck, my first car was a 71 VW bug and I cherished that car.

Little bit of spring maintenance.

Oil change, Fumoto valve with tube extension for skid plates installed.
Transfer case fluid change probably from original. Mobile 1 75w90
Greased the driveline with Mil spec synthetic grease.
Rust prevention paint touch up underneath.

All packed to head to GWNF for the weekend! Heading out with some buddies. We are going to explore the trails, chill by Skidmore Lake and eventually end up at Flagpole Knob for some camping. Then off to Big Levels the next day for some more off-roading fun!

If anyone has any suggestions within GWNF for places to visit, trails to hit, or anything else, let me know ASAP!

First oil change under new management. Mobil 10-40 synth cause it was sitting there free, Bosch filter cause it was that or Fram. Curious to cut open the old one ...

Leaves just the tranny and tx case for fresh fluids all around!

I've been watching my tranny temps on UltraGauge ... they seem high to me ... anyone else tracking theirs?!

they are the Mc Neil racing ones and fit is way better then i expected. they bolted up with a tiny bit of sanding and weren't warped at all. i just need to fill a tiny bit where it meets the sill/skirt. It seems like I need to trim and fill for the headlight garnish. I haven't taken a block to it yet and it pretty even all around. It takes a lot of fiddling but I'm pretty impressed.

Used a heat gun to remove a dent (kinda)

I bumped out a dent in my rear bumper cover

Before:

At first we were just heating up the area with a heat gun with the bumper still attached, but I couldn't get any leverage to bump it out. So we decided to just take out the bumper cover and bump it out detached from the 4r.

Yep...I ordered the E-bay kit and it didn't have vanity or glove box bulbs. I ordered them from Super bright LED's: 74-CWHP3 for glove box, and F30-WHP-12V for vanity. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong vanity bulbs first go around as Superbright LED only claims 80% accuracy using their online vehicle selector (WTF). Confirm the dimmentions of your existing bulb before ordering, but the above part numbers fit my V8 04 Sport. My .02
