Like most of you, I have a ton of mods I have yet to do. One (of many) idea involves installing more factory buttons. Because our rigs only have a limitrd amount of slots (I hate hacking shit), I noticed on later model Limiteds there is another slot besides the dimmer. This is supposed to house the memory buttons. Mine (2005) didnt come with it so it will house something else.
Saw this on ebay and bidded thinking I would loose. I didnt and it arrived today. More crap I really don't need. Makes me happy nevertheless.
dont the older models have the 2 extra buttons on the tach trim ring?

yes Tom, they do (great observation). The silver trim piece you see I think comes off. I'll swap the trims if it can be done. Our 05s have the "reset buttons" on them as well as turn signal arrows (at least mine does). I may have to trim the dark piece a little so my cluster (silver) trim properly fits. If I do a bad job, i think the silver trim is thick enough to hide any "hack jobs".

Finished up the last of the work on my Satoshi. I'm moderately happy with the way it turned out. It's better than stock from a distance but it's got some flaws up close. I still think the expanded metal I used was overkill. It was so hard to shape and I think the power coating warped it out of shape just a bit before install and it was difficult to reshape after powder coating.
I've still not decided on what, if anything I want to put on the grill. I might leave it clean.

Well honda has a recall on our honda fit(2011) air bag, so honda is providing with a rental car until they replace the air bag(late summer) picked a 2016 Ford fusion, and if it gets old driving it I can go back and pick something else.

Removed these for replacement and rebuild. Tomorrow I'm doing the left side... taking my time with it. It's gonna be at least a week to get the coilovers back from Icon anyways.

id expect longer, they only rebuild on tuesdays. Who does that?!
they also have a large backlog list, which is first come, first serve. Id try to find someone local before i sent to Icon.
Painted faded plastic trim at bottom of windshield under wipers.
I painted my faded plastic trim piece below my windshield wipers. Gave it a powder coat look. Highly recomend using 'Flex-Seal' as a spray paint on metal and plastic. Used it on my roof rack tool and it looks fabulous and is tough.

Finally got around to installing some lights under the hood.
Used some KC Cyclones I got from a local shop
Its wired to the same door jamb switch used for our doors.
No lights

Also got all the wiring done for my ditch lights... Just need the brackets to come in now.

I'm looking for someone to do them here in SoMD but that is proving to be quite the challenge. I should probably just buy the kits and do them myself. I think all I need is the hypodermic needle fill tool. I could probably just make one.... hmmm. I'll need strut oil too.
Does anyone know the PSI of the N2 on the 2.5 coilovers and 2.0 rear shocks.
sidenote: Wonder if MIL-PRF-83282 Aviation Hyd Fluid would work

Dropped off the 'Yank to get her headers on. Was going to get it done last week but life bit me in the arse. :drama:
Busy day so far in just a few hours, looks like rain now so gotta stop
Bought spark plugs, MAF cleaner, Throttle Body Cleaner, some lens tint and a Bluetooth OBD2 sensor a few days ago.
So Today I cleaned the MAF and the throttle body, that was really easy. Also used some peel off Lens Tint on the fog lights as they looked very goofy with my black grill and black headlights. Did the third brake light very dark and just a few coats on the tail lights
Wanted to do the spark plugs(they havent been done in a very long time, like 150k+ urgh I know) but its about to rain and I have no shop right now
Will post pics whenever it stops raining and I have time
