Not today, but over the weekend...

I'd been second guessing for a while about whether or not I really needed to use one of those headlight restoration kits. I picked the Sylvania kit and wow - what a difference!

I picked her up from the shop after getting a cracked AC line replaced and an alignment done after installing Camburg BJ UCA's!!! Now she blows cold air, has more downward travel, and caster #'s are G2G.

Tomorrow we're headed out to do some camping over the Memorial Day weekend. We're headed to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, going to explore the Bonanza Off-Highway Vehicle Tour, explore Salida, and ????

Ok, anyone know if I can wire my led offroad lights, yes with an amber lens, into my turn signal wires directly? Or do I need some sort of relay? I was thinking if I used a wiring harness like you use inside your truck to turn them on, but instead of going to a switch it goes to the turn signal hot wire that should work if you can't wire it directly in. Thanks for any info everyone!
Also, doing the DRL delete mod too... Hate those things.... I'm going to post this in a couple locations.

Finished welding this NWTI kit, looks alright. i don't dig the gap but it'll fit a 36" light bar nicely.

Replaced my last spark plug that the ignition coil bolt was giving me hell, and then my dad set it(the bolt) on the edge of the front bumper... I closed the door and it fell..

So I get to buy a new one tomorrow, simple fix

Also my parents told me today they were gonna buy me new rims for since I just graduated HS. Picked out some Fuel Vapors, cheapish but still look nice. So will get a real quote on them tomorrow. Also looking at a leveling kit, and possibly an intake.

Any roads you recommend me near the forks? I will be going june 14 for one day. Nothing paved would be nice to come back to nyc with a dirty runner and awesome scenic pictures

Driverside half shaft removed and replaced. Front diff drained and filled. Damn that was dirty fluid and that magnetic plug does its job well.

Realized I need new wheel/axle seals for the knuckles. 20 minute drive tomorrow morning. Kind of a pain to find the right part number but it's 710573 and made by National.

Had a gallon of paint explode in the back of my truck! Argh.... (I'm a painting contractor) didn't get before pics as I was on a mad scramble to hose it down and strip everything out. Then I powerwashed the carpet and actually got most of the paint out. Surprisingly. While I had everything apart I used some sticky flashing that I have heard helps block noise, I will do other parts of the truck as I can. The plastic back there is beat to shit so I decided to plastidip it. I am going to do a few more coats over the weekend and eventually I want to get some matte finish clear coat and seal it
