What did you do with your 4runner today?

Last night I put in my Rearview Dimming mirror w/ compass and Homelink. Today...bit the bullet before my trip to UT/CO and get the Joying HU and some Alpine Components and Coaxials. Couldn't decide between the Joying or a Scion T10015, but the Android seemed pretty cool...so why not. Putting in new HID Fronts, LED Fogs and Interior lights tonight.

Love being back in a 4th Gen Runner.

Ahh....went to start the truck this morning and recieved an early Christmas gift. Engine, and vsc/trac lit up. Pulled code and it was for a small evap leak. Bought a new oem fuel cap and I'm very happy.

Not today, but here is a before and after of photo of my jet ski plasti dipped. Been holding up well. About 8 or so coats. Yeah.. it's 2 tone dipped.

Well played. Have my akebonos delivered the day before, these are my rotors, and calipers from a 5th gen. Hopefully have on this week :rockon:

I looked up those rotors and they look pretty the ones they offer. What model rotors did you get ?

Went with the heavy duty ones. Would rather have too much braking power than not enough. I think these paired with the performance pads should make it brake like a beast.

If anyone is looking in the DFW area there will be a clean 2006 V8 SR5 (one 3rd row jump seat) with 170k miles on the lot at Pat Lobb. Do me a favor...ask for Bill Jenkins (pm me for his mobile). I don't get anything out of it...he's just a good guy. The only guy to deal with as far as I'm concerned. No clue what they are listing it for.

A bit of History
Fresh coat of Collinite 845 a week ago :clap2:
Just replaced pads and rotors and flushed 2k ago
New front arms, outer tie rods and end links about 15k ago
CVJ axles about 40k ago
Tacoma TRD Off Road struts and shocks (take off from '14 when new)
AirLift bags in rear coils
Timing Belt done at 108k (at Pat Lobb)
Diffs all have Redline gear oil since 120k
Tires are about 60-70% (plenty of good tread)
Has trailer brake controller in and ready to go (2016 Tundra Has built in...so left it)

Details on that Tundra? TSS? What's that? I love the Tundra.

TSS is really just an appearance package. It's the wheels, tires, black badges, etc...oh, and don't forget the sticker. I think it may be a regional thing.

Other than that:

Yeah. I just think I shouldn't have gone through another set of pads and rotors within 40k. I am letting my buddy who owns a shop actually do the install, as I don't want to deal with the bleeding process and the nightmare it COULD possibly turn into. I will keep you updated.
