My buddy in his runner got high centered on a large flat rock with all tires off the ground. I used my tow strap to tug him off and on the 3rd tug, i spun the wheels a bit and eventually got him off the rock. I went to drive off and i heard a metal on metal CLUNK CLUNK sound every few seconds.

Dragging a high centered 4runner off a large flat rock. He wouldn't budge with the first two tugs, and on the third i kept my foot on the gas, and eventually dragged his heavy ass off. Unfortunately this is the result. He had all 4 tires off the ground.
As for the otter box, I had it set up the whole time we were on the trails, going over obstacles, ledges, etc and it didn't budge which surprised the hell out of me. It works perfectly!

Finally removed my old LED lightbar and swapped it for a newer, cleaner version. I was worried that going from straight to curved would cause mounting issues and thankfully, it didn't. The new bar is MUCH lighter in weight and much thinner and so far, it's fantastic! Brighter and with the curved format, throws light tot he side a bit more than the last for more visibility! It's an Amazon special and it's better than my last no-name non-amazon special...

Hauled the Kodiak 172E travel trailer to donate it to a dog rescue organization that does work on the Four Corners reservations doing rescues and spay/neuter clinics. It's perfect for them as it's a short, expandable lightweight trailer. Has the huge 52 gallon fresh water tank, dual LP bottles, dual batteries, giant fridge/freezer, sleeps 5 easy. The Runner did fine without a WDH, which IMO is typical for smaller tow vehicles. You have to upgrade the soft rear springs, add airbags, or both, but IMO for towing less than 4000lbs a WDH is not necessary as long as you upgrade the rear springs.

Was the tears in the leather or the vinyl side bolsters?

Both. The largest defect was on the side bolster with a smaller tear in the middle of the bottom cushion.

Damn..sorry to hear that brotha. Your a mighty good friend ..were you able to drive home? Cause at that point what's done is done if it was able to make it home. Or did you make his heavy ass now pull you home with your foot on the brake all the way back , too make things square..lol.
Well , I'm shocked and can't believe it. But if that the case then I need some info on what mount you are using and how you set it up cause I have tried a few with no luck and that is exactly the set up I need, brotha.

I'm pretty impressed with the work. Just need to make sure he reconnected the seat heaters correctly first thing tomorrow morning.

No worries, it's cool! Actually the shop called me today and told me I had a bad bearing in the diff which allowed it to bind and create more tension then normal.
As for the mount, its a PROCLIP vent mount for the 4runner. it was like 30$. PROCLIP USA makes them. I used a dremel to drill 4 small holes and used machine screws (i think thats the name) with two nuts at the back. Hope that helps!

Removing the resonator (football looking thing visible from the rear) gives the t4r a little increase in sound.

I recently replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster super 10 series. I left the resonator on and it sounds pretty good. Now i'm just trying to convince myself I dont need the urd y pipe and headers.
