See.... About that. I plan on upgrading all the door speakers and tweeters too if I can find some. But I plan on running a 10 in the cargo area, not too much bass but a little kick and clearer sounds. I actually wanted to find small subwoofers and somehow corner-mount them to the hatch door so they bass towards me, where those little blindspots are but not covering them, so when the door is open they project down at the ground when reflecting the sound if I ever were to tail gate. Surround sound! That's my ORIGINAL plan, and it hasn't been done yet.
But no I will not deaden the floors or roof unless I for some reason need to get up/down there then I'll just go ahead and do it. Too much of a pain and a days work, although I might do the cargo area because I already notice a difference with just the doors, and if I don't do my original plan that's where the sub will be

the rear floor is easy to do tho. just unbolt both bottom parts of seat, remove both sill plate, then roll the carpet out the way, i would say it takes 6 sheets to do the whole rear, maybe more or less but my sheets were 18 x 24.

I don't even have that much left from the doors, I ordered 36 sqft and have about 4 1/2 left. So one day I'll do it, I'll just make.it a project tho and do EVERYTHING

Took the rear wheels off because I heard a grinding noise going to/leaving work last night. Left rear pads are down to metal, right rears are almost gone. New rotors and pads (Akebono) arrive tomorrow. I'm about to clean the calipers then refinish them with black Harbor Freight epoxy chassis paint.

The ol' hand wash-n-wax. Used Meguiar's NXT 2.0 sealant/wax. I like that product. Didn't bother with a claybar. Whoever had it before me took good care of it. It's gold paint but I couldn't see any swirls in the clearcoat, so just a wax for the winter.
And the monthly leather conditioning. In a bone dry environment like this ten minutes a month to keep the leather soft pays dividends. Also a quick spray of 303 on all the rubber - door and window seals, under the hood seals and hoses, CV and steering boots - in a bone dry environment that pays dividends also.

OMG you must have beat me to these by like a day!!!! :gun5: lol I have literally been searching ebay for a cheap(but decent) set in the exact size. Thinking about going with the Cooper STT Pros though.

I was kicking myself for not buying a set of ridge grapplers when discount tire was running their big eBay sale in Oct.
I was looking for a cheap single tire a few days ago to replace my old spare and came across the set duratracs on eBay. I couldn't pass them up at that price. Even though my plain street tires still had plenty of miles left on them
