What did you do with your 4runner today?

I bought my '04 Sport with 160k for $10k, so yea I'd say it's worth it for slightly lower miles even though it's a lower model. Maybe try to talk em down to $9,500 or so.

In southern California, similar models like that would be going for $13,000-14,000 with a v8.
As a pre-emptive strike, you may want to pull the fender liner forward in the front. Even with a slight lift in the front on mine (1 1/2" lift from FJ coilovers), they were rubbing

I had some BFG AT KO2s 265/70/17 tires and ProComp Series 51 wheels put on before Christmas and the rubbing sounds absolutely terrible.. but only when backing out of/pulling into my driveway/parking spaces and making u-turns
At 1/2 turn the fronts rub on the inner front fender/bumper. At 3/4 turn the fronts rub the front fender liner and the splash guards. At full-lock there isn't any rubbing at all. Normal street and highway driving is fine. Heheh.. I'm going to have Daystar 2.5" lift spacers put on tomorrow and hope I don't have to do any trimming.Attachments

I installed my toytec suspension a month ago, but have been wanting to adjust my front coilovers, as the front was a bit lower. (Toytec boss HD rears).

They were a pain in th.... a lot of work to get off.
I removed the tire c9mpletely for good access, then used the supplied tool to try to hand crank the coils down... after 20 mins of pain, I decided to look on the forums... saw a few people recommend using a lubricant... my buddy thought it was a bad idea, but there was no way I'd be able to do it with elbow grease alone. Shot it with some white lightning around the top and botto, then cleaned up any excess. It was still difficult, so I brought out the rubber mallet. Great successsss. It came from the factory with .5" down the thread, so I took it to 1.5 for an additional inch.
I love the way it looks, and it still handles great, maybe a little stiffer.

Finally got the Front Range Off-road rear links. These bad boys are stout. Which is good cause I'm hard on my 4Runner. Red Bull can for size reference.
This is everything that will be getting installed. Along with some new lower ball joints and new boots on the CV's. I talked to a few places about getting some heavier duty boots and they all use OEM's on their rebuilds and on their new heavy duty axles so that's what I ordered. Cannot wait to get started.

Well, it was last week but . . . sold the 2WD in my signature and bought this Silver 2006 Sport Edition 4WD. 160k miles in pretty damn good condition. I suspect it was a mom-mobile as I found a bunch of Cheerios and other kid food under the back seats. As of right now, it is bone stock. That changes this Friday/Saturday!! Friday I'll be putting in a new headunit (Pioneer) since I need Bluetooth for work. Saturday we're putting in 5100's with FJ springs front and rear and Airlift 1000 bags in the rear for hauling the dirtbike on a hitch carrier. I have a set of clean sport wheels that I'll be dipping black and putting on next week. Nothing too crazy, for now . . .

Good Lord, do you wash you ride with battery acid?Replaced my lift gate opening button, it was toast when I bought it 3 years ago but after it froze up and I couldn't get into the hatch, I'd decided I'd had enough. Old vs new

Haha it's was melted when I got it 3 years ago but it's melted a little more every summer and I finally said enough was enough and replaced it
