yep! basically as strong as the steel bumper but only weighs about 50 pounds.. so nice..

Until you actually use it on some rocks, then you'll wish you had steel. Unless you are just getting it for looks......then, cool......

should hold up just fine for what I'm using it for.. and all the guys at pelfrey have never had problems with denting with their bumpers... do you know from experience or are you just saying because aluminum sounds like it would.. because I thought the same thing at first and they told me that wasnt the case at all...

We've had a few people come to our event that we have every year with skids and bumpers that have learned that while offering good protection for your vehicle, they are not very good at sliding off of rocks like steel. And after pulling them off of the rocks the aluminum tends to get gnarled up. So instead of just touching up steel with some spray paint the aluminum needs some work to get it looking good again. If you don't get into the rocks then the weight savings are a huge plus, and it is a nice looking bumper

Replaced the PCV valve just for peace of mind and finally got around to cleaning my throttle body.
It was pretty dirty and gummed up my nylon brush right away! There was no noticeable difference afterward but at least it's clean now.

Interesting topic, I'll take steel any day in the rear and the added weight is easy to manage. In the front, I prefer a light set up and aluminum especially aircraft grade would be perfect. I see some of these huge steel front bumpers and wow! just not for me, just depends on your POU. I Overland and not interested in to heavy rock crawling for looks and fun with this current rig.
Anyways, to each his own and all these builds are cool as hell to look at

Mounted and wired up the rear lights. Not too bright but better than no lights. I took power from the trailer 7pin aux power wire and ran a wire up to the dash for a switch to trigger a relay mounted in the factory jack compartment.
Also installed some extended rear brake lines while the spare was dropped. When I put it up on jack stands and let the axle droop I could hear the stock lines stretching, yikes, that's what was limiting my travel! So I have firmer braking now and surprised the old ones didn't blow although I'm sure they were ballooning.

What sort of brake feel change did you notice? Do you have stainless lines up front?

When I did mine you could definitely notice the difference. Don't have to get on the brakes quite as much. I do need to replace the fronts also.

Firmer pedal, stops with less effort/pedal press distance. I stretched those old ones out enough times off-road that they are super soft and surely would expand when pressurized. I'm mad at myself for leaving that risk on there for so long. I've had the front and rear stainless lines for almost 2 years now, this brought the braking feel back to where it was when I first installed those with no rear lift to destroy the axle lines yet.

Will do buddy. I'm very excited to say the least. Also checked these out, I've never seen them before but they were second on my list of trying new tire brands. Atturo is a first for me, and so would these.And I like the way they look too
