No lie, I was behind an F150 yesterday that was driving extremely slow in my neighborhood. As most people would think that the ford was breaking down so did I. Until I saw a gal set up as if she was laying in the lap of the driver..... I then drove by and gave a celebratory honk or two. Dreams do come true, regardless of what you drive :thumb3:

I actually bought the rims and tires during Black Friday. With the discount and a $100 gift card the rims were about $80 each. Can't beat that at all!

Today I added a toytech 1" body lift, to add to my 3" suspension lift.
Not TOO difficult but eh. Wouldn't do it again for the minor difference in height.

HOWEVER, now I have my brake light in the dash that won't turn off.

Any suggestions???

Thanks! No hoops, just low profile. Hope the steel looks as good as the cardboard! LOL I started welding the bumper today...hope to have a progress update tomorrow.

Installed a new RAM Mount for my Samsun Tab E. Now I can watch my favorite movies while driving.

Finally got around to doing the rodent mod after finding evidence of one on my cabin air filter. I did notice if the air switch is set to recirculate before turning off the vehicle it will close the vent door so those bastards can't get in.

I didn't take any pictures during the install. I'm sorry. However there is already a fantastic thread with pictures and step by step details on here already. Just have to search for it.

thats not bad, mines is bottom by the vin, all across to pass side , about 5 inches from the bottom at that side.

I'm on my 4th windshield by now. It barely bothers me anymore. My X5 is on it's 3rd, and my 135i is probably on it's 2nd (although that one was purely my fault).

Anyway, I dumped Seafoam into my crankcase and gas tank. We had a snowstorm and I lost track of mileage. I ended up driving 110 miles with 1/2 can (or less) in the oil. I thought it was running really crappy, but thought it could be due to the fact that it was 2* outside.

Anyway, quick oil & filter change with chunks of snow dropping on me. Good times. I realized I only had 6 quarts of 5W-30 Mobil 1 on me. I babied it the 2 miles to wal-mart and picked up and poured 1/2 quart in. I'm a 'tard sometimes apparently.

Fun aside: I saw a RHD R32 GT-R on the freeway on the ride home from work.

It looks like the feet that come with most light bars bolted straight to the roof.

think my head gasket went today?? help!!

Hey there i have a 92 4runner with a possible head gasket issue,,, i think?? just looking for some additional advise, today when trying start it it would not crank (almost like it was sized or the battery was dead) for the first 2 tries, and then it sputtered up without even cranking. it started blowing out some pretty white smoke that defiantly did have a sweet smell to it. it was idealing pretty rough and a had a bit of a shake to it. but once i started driving it ran fine. until i noticed the engine temp was dangerously high, i pulled it over to let it cool down. tried turning on the cabin heater to help it cool down but for some reason it was not putting out any heat.

Reasons why i think it is a head gasket:
-Sweet smelling white exhaust
-over heating
-very low coolant levels (little leaking near front left of engine well)

Reasons why i think it may be something else...
- firstly! no milky oil on the dipstick or oil cap
-no heat moving in from engine to cabin
-previous power steering pump sounding whine instantly went away
-coolant reservoir very low and can not see any bubbling or coolant for that matter at top of rad when running

i cant see any other reason why the exhaust would have that sweet smell and be exceptionally white, other then coolant getting into the engine... any ideas guys?? please help!!
