It was manufactured in November of 2005. I believe the updated head gaskets came a couple of months later.

It has just, like last week, started to be a tiny bit rough idling on start up. I also had the occasional "waterfall" sound on startup. Had no idea that was a symptom too. This guy had the same symptom:

Ah, sounds like it, then :/ I got lucky and my clogged radiator was pushing coolant out of the system, only to be replaced by air (so I thought it was the HG for a while). I still have the waterfall noise occasionally, but I'm just dealing with it since everything else is perfect. I'll burp it well at some point.

Bracketeer mount to nicely place a 2.5lb halon extinguisher under front of drivers seat. Required trimming of the floor liner and removal of seat bolt plastic covers but I'm really happy with the outcome.

Hey guys, have a trip from California to Seattle coming up and I'm towing a trailer of my stuff. I don't know much about towing and was wondering how much of a drop I would need on a hitch. I have a 3" lift in the rear

After 11 years, I finally got around to touching up the undercoating, as well as replacing the factoring splash guards with RAD Rubber splash guards. They're beefy.

I also added a 6" Rigid SR Flood light to the rear to use as a reverse light. Due to the hump style spoiler, I had to add some spacers to give the light beam more clearance.

Installed new fogs, headlights and lightbar.

Bought an ARB Awning 2000 off a local T4R member and installed it yesterday. Today, I'm taking the awning (and the 4Runner) to Big Bear to play. The mounting is a little more ghetto than I'd like, but it'll work for this weekend and then I can clean it up over time.

Day 1!

I just bought myself a silver 2008 SR5 4wd V8, and I'm loving it. Sale finalized yesterday afternoon, and while my wallet is recovering, all I've been able to do so far is install my dash cam, change the cabin air filter, and remove the HCF from the intake.

I'll be babying it for a while, but I have a reuseable air filter on the way, a light bulb to replace a dead one on the right side of the HVAC display, and a smokers kit (I dont smoke, but who doesnt need an extra 12v socket?)

Next on the purchase list is a SAIP Bypass kit, followed by anything and everything I decide to replace with the Timing Belt.

It all depends on the tongue weight of your trailer. Estimate 10 to 15 % of weight of trailer for the tongue weight.
