Today I installed my "smoker's kit"!
I love when things are plug and play. $24ish on ebay, and 10 minutes in the driveway in the rain and I have an extra 12v outlet in the front row!
This weekend I'll be doing some experimenting about what I might be able to use the removeable ashtray for (since I dont smoke). It's just too narrow to hold one of those 60pc gum containers or my phone. currently it's holding an extra 12v to usb adapter and the cigarette lighter itself. I havent pulled out the ash screen yet, but that creates more room inside the tray itself.
after a moment of weakness, I also have an interior led kit on the way. so thats coming soon too.

excuse my ignorance but, do you just leave it on there when you open the hatch? Isn't that a pain while camping? We're in and out of the back hatch or leaving it open a lot so I've always wondered about how that would work on a 4runner.

I've wondered this too as I have a poor man's DIY Trasharoo I want to add, but haven't yet seen a good spot outside of bolting hooks/zip tie points to the hatch to mount one.
Unless I'm not seeing something, how did you mount your trasharoo without a swing arm mounted spare??

Weathertech's and 20% front tints to match-ish
Next up - Clean PCV valve (doubt PO ever did it), replace melted rear hatch handle, install reverse cam, install Smittybilt Beaver Step and Bolt hitch lock =)
