What did you do with your 4runner today?

This weekend was maintance time. I installed a replacement battery hold down and radiator cap. I also changed my oil and did a tire rotation.

So far they ride super smooth overall. Floats over everything. No regrets pulling the front sway either. Brake dive is gone, braking distance is decreased (rear was getting unloaded too easily before)

There is only one speed bump that, for some reason, is more jarring than when I had the OMEs in, not sure why yet. Perhaps the stiffer coils? Maybe its just the rear end, don't have the rear Kings in yet. Need to play with the adjusters and dial it in as well.

Good to hear! Looking forward to putting on a set.

Yea it could be a combonation the stiffer coils and not having the kings in yet.

This weekend I finally got to try out my Grabber AT2s in the snow...they did great!

Installed a 1A auto lower control arm with SPC hardware. Getting aligned tomorrow. Install went super smooth!

Looking at the 1A control arm set myself. How did they look before the install? Nice quality? Where did you get your new hardware? Mines 4R is a DD and Ive only put 1k on it since buying on 11.25.17, so Im not really excited about paying OEM prices for the control arms, and I have no intentions of off roading, so that lead me to the 1A set.

I dreaded this for a while....until about a few months I saw that it had actually sealed itself back up. Gonna wait for it to start leaking again....but for now, don't fix it unless it's broke!

I bought the rig like this and it looked like it was leaking for a while, I topped off the fluids it was roughly Half a quart or more low. So I ordered the parts and fixed the problem.

The arm showed up within 2 days. Shipping was excellent. When the arm came, everything looked great and was super beefy. The ball joint boot is the only thing I'm keeping an eye on, just to make sure the rubber is good quality. The install was super easy! I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again, but I only have a few hundred miles on them so I'm hoping everything lasts.

I purchased the hardware off of ebay, but I believe they came from 4 wheel parts. I also used a lot of anti seize.

Ha that would be horrible. I checked it every week, everytime i checked it was topped off. Been 15k and nothings blown up yet...but perhaps I've just jinxed myself :flame:

Did an oil change and switched to Mobil 1 5w-30. Also Drained and filled the rear diff with Mobil 1 and put in a new breather plug. Next is to do the transfer case and front diff, and going to replace both CV axles while the front diff is empty.

Ordered a set of weather tech mats for the front and back seats and did an oil change.
It was my first oil change since getting the truck and I thought I’d never get the old filter off. Thank goodness I’ve got a v6 so it was at least easy to access it.

I bought some foam rubber from Wally world and finally removed the driver's seat. The PO was a rather "large" person and the seat was broke down on the left side. The foam cushion was actually pushed under the frame. Pulled the foam back up and put some extra foam in there. It looks a lot better and is definitely more comfortable.

Made a short trip over to Knoxville to have Sparky (not sure how to tag him) switch out my gauge cluster leds from orange to white. If you’re thinking about having this done, I highly recommend his work. Made a huge difference, this is how it should have come from the factory in my opinion. The needles are no longer orange, they’re like a reddish pink color since the backlight is now white, but I’ll probably paint them eventually. I was tired of the oem orange color. Still working bit by bit on everything else..

Oil change, rotated tires, touch up paint, lubed UCAs, lubed slide pins, and found no sticking calipers!

Busted CV boot though.

Added that to the repair list.
