What did you do with your 4runner today?

I did it 3 times myself (bluepit bearing didn't last long on one wheel). But their youtube video was very helpful.

In all honesty, not that long to do aside from the castle nut and corrosion. . The hardest was the castle nut. Had to use a 10 foot steel pipe as a lever to get it off. Don't forget to get a 36 mm socket for it. If you have another guy to help, all the better if it doesn't want to come off.
Oh and forget what the book says about disconnecting the brake line. No need to do that. Just tie up the caliper housing to hold it.
The other thing that took some time was getting the old bearing off due to the rust and corrosion that hardened it on. Had to hammer the heck out of it to get it off but it came loose.
Installation was quick however do NOT forget the heat shield when putting it back on. I did and had to remove the damn thing again after it was bolted in.

This weekend, I went out to Anza Borrego with a buddy and his wife in their 5th Gen. Had a great time and found an awesome camping spot. I tried some night time photography but the sky was completely clouded over and I did not spend enough time before hand learning the features of my camera. Lesson learned.
That looks like a perfect campsite!

It was pretty awesome. We had the fire under the overhang but I set up my 4Runner a little bit away from the ledge. :wow:

Went shooting this morning.
Do you get a good co-witness with the Halosun on your scorpion carbine? Also is that the factory low mount that came with your Halosun or a 3rd party mount?

It does get a good co witness. It's actually how I sighted it at first. I adjusted both after that because of it being off slightly.
It comes with an "AR mount” and a low mount.

Finally got my rim in for a spare tire. Been rolling dangerously without one all this time.
LOL, I just got a TRD Pro rim of eBay for my spare for the same reason. You know how hard it is to find a single tire in the right size, much less a match to the other 4??
For sure I wasn’t about to pay full price for one te37...

On the gear indicator when shifting through the gears, does all the different gear positions light up blue or is it stll the same as stock
that reverse is red and neutral green and all others blue?

On this one I left the reverse red, all the other are blue.

Are the stock red and green the color of the bulbs or is there a colored cover over them?

Yes N can be left green. Any light on the cluster can be changed to anything you like. The stock red and green are red and green led’s. Everything on the board is led’s so can be customized to your liking.
Check out all the used tire shops in San Diego they are bound to have something you need for the spare tire
