What did you do with your 4runner today?

so that means it got about 60? no thanks

It was like 72. It hits 60-70 outside and I’ll be at the river usually. Native to the state so it’s plenty warm for me. It’s also really muggy here most the time, it’s not a dry heat like Cali and Az’s.

I commented about your all-of-the-caster on instagram! Be sure to take the alignment instructions to the shop with you cause most techs won't touch the upper ball joints so you need to show them how to do it, or get an alignment check, adjust upper ball joint position yourself then take it back.



Also do yourself a favor and put little rubber vacuum caps over the grease zerks to keep them clean.

Haha what’s up man! Ya the shop I usually take my cars to works on a lot of modified cars so they knew to use the uca for the camber adjustment. Thanks for reminding me about the nipple cap, I was wondering why they didn’t come with them from spc

Living in Chicago, yes. I usually have a step that I put in the hitch receiver but I haven't had time to switch it out from the last trip to the off road park.

New shoes!

Had picked up my FN FX Pro wheels from Dustin on Wednesday, and ordered tires the same day. They arrived at my local tire shop yesterday and I had them installed this morning before work. Absolutely thrilled with the look, and all I need to do still is move the fender liner forward a bit.

Waiting to see if the OME Springs in the rear settle, if they don't I'll adjust the front to level it out. Either way, I'm so stoked with the transformation of my baby in the last month.

Had some reflective vinyl laying around and thought I'd try vinyl wrapping my emblem. Doesn't look bad far away but not good close up(mostly because it wasnt enough material for the emblem) and not the best pictures.

Well, last week, but I didn't get it posted. On a trail called Captain Crunch. Good name for it. Lots of dents, busted windows and axles over the years. Ha. Fortunately for me this time it was just a tie rod (3rd pic). Fortunately it happened in a spot where the bypass crosses the trail so I was only about 15 yards away from it and all of the big rocks were behind me. Hooked a strap up and drove/drug it off the trail. Went to town to pick up a tie rod, and Auto Zone was the only place that carries them in stock. Toyota doesn't because nobody ever needs one. Haha. I don't like going to Auto Zone so they are always the absolute last place I call, but thank God they did cause i didn't want to leave the 4Runner out there. Can't get a trailer down there. Anyways, fifteen minute fix. Got home and ordered new bearings, tie rods, ball joints and bushings to refresh the front end. Happy wheeling!

Picked up a 4th gen 2 weeks ago. The brakes felt shitty. Found out they had the notorious seized caliber so I upgraded. Did the sr5 to limited brake upgrade today.

Also picked up some 17” trail wheels

Brake feel is better. But still bad compared to my 3rd gen.

Tried attaching a pic but doing it through iPad isn’t working
