What did you do with your 4runner today?

I've tried several different options, but none fit well enough to prevent water/dust ingress. Others seem to have had similar problems, because these now exist... ARB Fitting Air Coupler Pacifier (ACP-ARB). They are spendy, but Joey makes top notch stuff.

Well, that sure looks like what I'm looking for. Right now I have duct tape over the chuck. I'll give one a try.

I'm surprised they take something special since it's a standard fitting. I've actually thought about taking a fitting and filling it with metal (solder?) and the sticking that in there. This is a great business opportunity for someone with a 3D printer.

Just put a metal cap on the end of the fitting.

Returned the Old Shark G15 dash cam & replaced it with a Rexing V1 Gen3. The Old Shark’s video quality was not adequate.

That is what I did. The problem is that doesn't seal close enough to the end of the chuck. The seal seems to be lower, which at least prevents anything reaching the inside of the compressor, but it doesn't protect the rest of the chuck. Mine is now sticking. I still need to find a better solution or just pay for the Wit's End version.

Technically, I was not the one who did it my 4Runner today, lol. Someone ran with their trailer into the vehicle on the parking lot. Luckily, my wife was walking back from the store and witnessed the whole thing.

Installed an AFE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake. Opted for the dry filter as I've read too many negative things about an oiled filter. No real noticeable changes in power, but good lord is the sound just amazing when you jump on the throttle. Install was wickedly easy, took just over 30 mins.

Plasti-dipped the badges! It was an interesting experience and definitely not perfect my first go around, but I'm happy I took the time to do it. Next time I'll not only alcohol swab the area but wash it first. Oh, and use tape to mask it and then newspaper instead of newspaper and then tape. Ah well!

Fixed my air mixer servo today. What a pain. I did take pictures, so I'll try to get a write up done for these things. This one had a different issue than my first, so hopefully the fix will last as long -- first one is still going...

That makes 2/3. I hope the last one doesn't take a dump too soon.
