You're posting in the wrong forum. This is the 4th gen forum, if you have a 2018 TRD 4runner you need to be searching in the 5th gen forum.

damn, just clay bar my windows, still need to use a razor blade to all of them due to grease and water spots, but the clay is enough for now, found out my driver side window felt is torn, so i just browse toyota parts express and partznet. partznet was cheaper by a couple of dollars each. so i just ordered all 4.

Since I bought my 2008 on Saturday, I've been slowly fixing a couple small issues:

• Recharged the AC. So far it's still going strong, which is a relief because I was worried there was a leak.
• Replaced the stock bulbs in the dome light with some LEDs. I plan to do the same to the map lights.
• Front windshield washer wasn't working, but pump was making noise and rears worked. I tracked it down to a cut/repaired hose near the back passenger edge of the hood -- bought some new tubing and couplers and swapped out the faulty portion and it works like a charm

Next project is to figure out the whistling/squealing sound from the rear wheels. It only happens at very low speeds (under 8mph) and seems a little louder when turning. But even then, it's hard to hear unless the windows are down. Anyone have some guesses as to what this may be?

You lucked out. My rear washer wasn't working and I pumped a gallon of water under the passenger carpet before I diagnosed it.

Good excuse to replace the carpet, however.

Replaced the stop lamp switch assembly on my 4runner. Took all of 30 seconds with no tools being needed.

It addressed the issue with my ABS/VSC/Trac lights randomly coming on.

Finally got a bmc done yesterday

Got JBA UCAs installed and had alignment done. Gotta go back in a few weeks and have the alignment rechecked. Happy that the sway bar is back on. I took it off when I changed the oil about two weeks ago to isolate a noise (thought it might be the end links). It was the old upper ball joints.

Interior LED swap, the pack I ordered didn't come with rear passenger dome/cargo lights so I ordered them from superbrightleds for a good price with quick shipping. Will update with pics.

Removed the running boards, chopped the resonator and did a 4" exhaust tip out the side.

Lifts, tires and maybe new wheels coming up in the next month or so.

Yes! Sometimes I am a hack on my own stuff. Haha the wide open cv makes it easy to see where it’s gonna bind, also. Tightening my locks is hard so stack washers for speed and you don’t have to buy new nuts for final assembly! Win win.

Just a typical Longtravel front kit. A little wider than most on the market at about 4.75” wider each side. Rear for now is on Bolt in kings and ome coils. Not sure how far down the rabbit hole I want to go in the rear. I need to keep the inside clear for sleeping in.

Also, saving pennies to fix my blown head gasket.. [emoji853]
