Yes I used a little over one can and tried to coat the entire frame & other exposed areas.

How hard is it to get one in the Communist State of Cali? VA is pretty easy as long as you can pass an FBI background and take a gun safety course

In New Mexico your vehicle is an extension of your home, no CCW required to keep a pistol in your car! You do still need a CCW for actual concealed carry though, unless you want to open carry then have at it.

Very. You have to demonstrate an actual need for it, above and beyond self-defense, and it's completely at the Sheriff's discretion whether to issue it. At least here in San Diego.
On topic, I replaced the zerk fitting on my UCA since it kept leaking.

Thanks for your feedback. I’ve been seriously thinking about it. Do you notice any difference in airflow through the vents? Just wondering if it has more/less restriction than a regular type.

That absolutely sucks! I thought the Commiewealth of MA was bad! At least we don’t have to “demonstrate a need” for a constitutional right. We do need to take a course, and have a sign off from the chief of police in your town of residence, plus the normal background check stuff.

Did you do anything to protect yourself from the spray? E.g. a mask?
I am wondering how harmful this stuff is to inhale, but I'd like to get under there and do the same thing since I live in KS.
Also what weight are those ramps you're on? I need to pick up a set or two.

Nope, I didn't notice any air flow change. I don't think it's design for more airflow like their engine filters are.

That's the stuff Uncle Sam uses on their gubmint cheese trucks. Apparently you can run used oil on your frame for the same effect though, I don't remember where I read that but it sounds like the theory could hold water.

Gave the underside a slightly overdue coating of Fluid Film. I am trying to apply a coat every spring and fall. Hope to keep this thing for a while.

I wear a full face respirator when I remove surface rust from my sliders and wherever else it accumulates. I keep it on when I paint over the spots. California may be totally asinine with their warning labels but they're right to warn the simple folks that everything causes cancer and you're basically already dead.
This stuff never dries according to the can, i don't want to think about what it would do to the cilia in your respiratory tract that work to remove foreign particles. This stuff is a penetrant, I'd rather smoke filterless cowboy killers than inhale that stuff.

I am still waiting for the trim pieces to arrive in the mail. The light output is not terrible although I would like it to b better. I am going to try getting some better bulbs. It's just the hard thing is that I won't know if the bulbs are actually better until I order a new set and install them.

Maintenance day. Doing a couple of short rinse intervals before putting ultra platinum back.
Also took off the brake kit from my 3rd gen to prep it for install onto the 4th.
It’s been a while since I drove the 3rd gen. Also changed the oil on the 2JZ. Typical Toyota to put oil filters in hard to reach places.

Actually it’s in reference to the 2JZ in the IS300
Lol didn’t even try yet. The v8 isn’t that hard. My 5VZ was more of a pain compared to the 2UZ.
