Lol I'm way OCD! Rattling panels drives me nuts. Started with the rattling sunroof every time I drove over any small bump and has expanded into so much more. I also need to sound deaden my gf's Civic because it literally sounds like we're driving around in a tin can :car:

How did you fix the rattling sunroof? It's the only significant rattle in my interior and it goes away if I press on the headliner by the rear right corner of the sunroof firmly, not sure what I can do to fix it permanently.

Which did you get? I need something that keeps my groceries from falling out when I open the hatch...Not a huge fan of the 'envelope' kind though

This is the envelope type, a Asian copy of the Toyota net. Will try it out for a while. Lately I have been picking up 30 x 12" pavers for a yard projects.

I'll try and explain this to the best of my ability If you open the sunroof all the way, you'll see a sheet metal edge that is normal to the surface of the roof (90* bent downward). I put a couple layers of electrical tape on that surface, essentially taking up the extra gap that the sunroof seal couldn't seal anymore. Kinda wedged the glass into its home tighter to keep it from rattling. My theory is the seal gets old and dried out and constant movements that *push* on the seal make it smaller. Kind of a bandaid fix but it was cheap and it worked so

Previous owner only had one set of remote/keys so I ordered a set off eBay for $15. Took 2 minutes to program.

That makes a lot of sense, thanks! So should I take the rattling as a hint that I should install a new seal next summer? Probably would be a good idea I'm thinking...

You can't just get the seal, it's part of the glass assembly.

This past week I installed LED lights in my rear bumper. I also replaced my LCA's, end-links and front sway bar bushings to, hopefully, get rid of the clunk in the front end.

The LED's were originally going to just be wired into the trailer wiring harness and then controlled by a switch on the relay so we wouldn't have to run any wires like my friend did with his Tacoma. Turns out the wiring is different so we had to run wires. Thus:

Always liked how your lighting mods retained the stock look/feel. Like the squadrons in the fog lamp position. Toyota should take note for their TRD pros haha

Thanks! I got them on Amazon: LINK

I like them and they've got a wide beam pattern. The do NOT come with a harness or switch so you'll need to make your own. I got a switch from CH4x4.

I will do write-up on my build thread soon, but basically you just cut a square hole in the bumper, mount the lights an then wire them to power and a switch. The whole area behind the bumper cover where the lights are mounted is wide open.
