Apex overland front recovery points. Ridiculously easy install, and would appear to be bomb proof as well.

Rola roof rack and Diode Dynamics SS42 install finished tonight. Just need some finishing details. I used the 4XInnovations low profile brackets and made my own front supports with some mending brackets from Menards.
Wind noise went from insane to almost nothing after putting the light bar in.

Managed to lock the keys inside for the first time since buying my 4R in 2014. But while I earned an F for the what, the when & where both rate an A. I was at work & public safety was coming through the testing site so there was a fire engine with a lockout kit parked 50 feet from my truck. Ten minutes later I was back in.

I feel your pain..BUT even more so, I have locked my keys in my T4R twice since I bought it in 2016...BUT both times it was while it was RUNNING!!!:crybaby:
I have a fenced in yard so when I go to work every morning I pull up to my gate and get out open it drive through and then get out and close it, the first time it happened I opened the gate drove out, got out and closed the gate went to open the door and it was LOCKED, I have my house key on another key ring so I go inside get a wire coat hanger and a couple of big screwdrivers, I used the screwdrivers to wedge open the top of the door to door frame and then for the next 30+ minutes try my best to hit the unlock button or the lock toggle by the door latch handle....no luck so I call a moble locksmith, 30+ minutes later he get's and about 5 to 10 minutes later using his lockout kit the door is unlocked, that cost me 1 hour and 15 minutes late for work + the gas burned while it was running the whole time and $80 for him coming to unlock it!!!
The second time it was much the same scenario but this time when I went to get in to pull out the gate it was locked, I wasn't going to call that locksmith again!!
I did the same as I tried the first time with the screwdrivers and wire hanger but was lucky and got it open in about 15 to 20 minutes, this time I saved a little gas and $80!!
I now own my own lockout kit but have never had to use it because I never close my door when it running unless I'm inside, there has been a couple of times when the door closed from wind and I panicked both time until I remember I have the tools to get it unlock but it wasn't locked when I tried opening the door!!
When I first got the lockout kit I had it in the T4R until I thought what good is it inside if the keys get locked inside, the kit now resides inside my house!! LOL
Now one would ponder how could you lock yourself out while it's running (?), I have asked myself this many time since the door has to be unlocked to open it from the inside because when you pull the door lever it automatically unlocks the door...correct(?)...the only thing I can think of is when you pull that lever the heel of your hand in against the lock "toggle" and could cause the toggle to go back to lock after you pull the lever or not toggle all the way to the unlock position, I have tried to replicate the scenario numerous times but I can't get the toggle to stay halfway or lock itself, I guess it has to be just the right combination of friction and movement on the toggle to get it to happen.
Also one would think that if no one is sitting in the seat and you close the door while it's running the door would unlock if it's in the locked position....BUT NO SUCH LUCK!!!:crybaby:
Also I found out since I carry my door fob in my pocket because the loop on it is broken that it would unlock the door...BUT AGAIN NO SUCH LUCK, it will not unlock the doors while the vehicle is running!!!:crybaby:

Today I tried to swap rear door speakers from IS300 mark levinson speakers to my t4r rear doors. Direct fit even plug is the same. But it sounds like crap on jbl system. So i put it back in to IS300.

Changed the hood shocks and spark plugs on my '04 SR5 V6. I'm glad I did, the gap was up to .080". Remember the stock gap is .043". I still got 22mpg (highway) on the way home from the gf's house prior to the change though.
