Started installing an airlift and broke an XREAS shock in the process. So, this weekend I got to install some SR5 castoffs and the air lift. I have to say, they make the daystar lift to last forever. 100k miles and 4 years and it's almost as good as new.
XREAS had 245k miles and hadn't failed yet. I was hoping to make 250 but ended that a little prematurely.

I used these universal mirror covers in the summer to stop a territorial bird pooping all over the side mirrors (while it was nesting locally).
lucked out, they stop the side mirrors from frosting up overnight also.
i did not buy them for the anti frosting value, but actually that is what they were sold as, i just never realized it , duh.
its easy enough during winter to fit and remove each night.
yes i do have heated mirrors, when you remove the covers, they fog over like breathing on your glasses, so the heat works ultra quick to unmist them, i had just taken the covers off when i took the pic.

Those dividers are definitely the move! What tray is that though, something OEM?? I've never seen one and now I want it lol.

I did do the full kit. Only drove it a short distance because the alignment was WAY off due to replacing LCA. It is at the shop getting aligned right now.
Removed XREAS that had completely failed. I will update my post when I get her back.
Well...here's what I added to the beast since I got it lol...
1. Rear 2.5 adjustable king shocks
2. Total Chaos complete rear links
3. Stainless steel brake line all around
4. Gobi Roof rack and ladder
5. 40" ridig LED light bar for roof rack
6. Quad halo LED headlights
7. Smitty Built 10k winch
8. 2 Baja designs LP4 pro amber and 2 Baja designs LP9 sport lights for the bumper
6. Switch pros 9100 install with SD offroad mount tray
7. BFP fab lower shock gaurds
8. Full CBI skid plates
This summer, upgrading the transmission cooler, adding dana 60 axles with front/rear lockers and 4.88 Nitro gears
Also, the mirrors were imported from Japan.

Replaced OEM fog bulbs with Alla 2600lm (each) 3000K Amber LEDs. Brighter than originals, but we'll see how they perform in the fog we've had between rains lately.
Since I was down there and excess fenderwell plastic was gettin' in the way, thought I'd do some preemptive slicing and dicing before suspension, wheels and tires this year. It'll make my next job, changing out headlamp assemblies, easier too. Cuts like butter with a utility knife, clean and easy to make smooth curves.
Gotta do somethin' while waitin' for a code scanner to be delivered...
