Finally got the oxygen sensor replaced. Had to buy a nut extractor set to get the nuts off. The hardest part was just getting the nut out of the extractor.
What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Got it back up and running. Napa parts worked for the most part. The half moon shroud didn't line up but the major pieces did (have a zip tie holding on the big shroud for now along with the three other bolts since it doesn't line up perfectly either). Going to try and find a parts 4Runner to grab a shroud from.
Flushed the cooling system with distilled water while I was at it, there's still some green 50/50 in it but it's almost all Toyota red coolant (mixed with distilled). I'll give it another flush in a month or two.
Changed the trans oil as well, shifts much smooth with the redline in it.
Need to pick up some inner fender liners from a parts runner as well. Need to call the junkyard in Denver and see what they have.

Learned why the 3vz is notorious for blowing head gaskets...on top of every other problem I've had lately...the head gasket blew this morning while I was pulling out of my driveway to go to work. Off to the shop. At least I wasn't on the highway. :Cry:

For the first time since I bought it in October I drove the 95 to work and back, without having another vehicle at the shop! It's been a long road but it's finally going again now. Made it to work, lunch, and home without a hiccup!

Parked it... 4 the last time
Tried to get this rig from So cal to Utah, wound up with transmission overheating, and low oil pressure. I was 1 mile from a Toyota dealer on a sunday with no place else to go. I just put 800 into it which turned out to be a bad idea. I have a logistics issue now since I am in Utah and the truck is in San Bernardino. whoa is me:juggle:

There is enough space on the left for one bike rack. Perfect for my cross country trip to Colorado.

Cañon City, and around Pikes Peak area. I wanted to head up to Fort Collins, but I don't think I'll have the time before I gotta head to Phoenix for a job. The vehicle my 4runner replaced was rolled out there 28 odd years ago.

Oh man. I live in Fort Collins, starting to get real nice out here. It's pretty cool there's wheeling pretty much anywhere you go out here, add in mountain biking as well and it's pretty much heaven.
