What did you get for Christmas?

Ordered myself a set of Outdoor Logic Sliders...... Santa aka UPS hasn't dropped them at my door yet but what can i say....looks like he has been busy!

I got more this year then I've probably gotten in over a decade!

The highlights were -
Nikon 35mm/1.8
Nikon 18-55mm/3.5-5.6 VR
Midland 2-way radios
Cargo net for the Gobi
 
Got my wife the Hilux Surf wastebasket for the back seat....so she'll stop filling the drivers side door nook with Dunkin Donuts receipts and straw wrappers!

are you 100% positive? I'm pretty sure that the v8's had slightly different dimensions through the years, and I don't think anybody has tried different setups on the different engines too much if at all. and ya, i know nobody officially makes the kit, but nobody makes an official SAS kit for the 4runner, yet you still see a couple guys who made it happen. so I'm gonna be the one to try and make it happen instead of everybody saying "it won't work, they don't make it".

Its only metal, if you can heat, cut, grind, bend, and weld it will fit. Let us know how it works out and much tweaking was needed. I'm thinking of something similar.

As for christams goodies, I have placed orders for ARB front and rear lockers and am currently investigating what gearing I will install as well :)
 
Under my tree was an iPad 2, and a new nano.:girl:

I've also been saving for a remote start for the taco but with the boxing day deals I found a Bose home theatre system that may temporarily drain that fund. I got the ok that the fund will be replenished but probably after tax time which will be after the winter season. I'm trying to decide if I want to wait another winter without a remote starter. There's only 2 real months of winter to go, this "winter" has been really warm so far anyways and I haven't had it for 3 years now as is so I'm leaning for the Bose. Sale ends tomorrow so I better decide.

Decisions... decisions....
 
got myself some stuff
Focal 165VR component set for the rear doors (got 165k2p in the fronts already)
some 1/2 inch spacers for it, went over my old one so it worked out
Osram 66240 Cool Blue Intense hid bulbs (5000k)
new router dlink dir-655

3 process welder Mig/TIG/Stick 181 amp inverter welder. Can't tig yet but its gonna be fun to learn. Already fired it up and built a square front drive shaft for a buddies 2nd Gen Crawler. Burns a nice bead and came with a auto darkening helmet. My wife said that I now have no excuse to put sliders and bumpers on her 03 runner. I love my wife:thumb3:
