What do I have to do to get these rims to fit?

haha oh, well he gotta good rim, my friend's taco has those, and they are sick.
What about XD Monster? Those are sickk :hatsoff:

Are you up for downsizing to 17's? Like I said earlier, seems to be the simplest way since you really want those wheels.

i don't think its safe to say that those will solve all your problems. at 0 offset and 9" wide they may protrude out past the fenders as is, plus those adapters will push them out even more. i think you're going to run in to rubbing issues, but maybe not. adapters are generally frowned upon. not so much on say a camry that never leaves the road but your 4r is considerably heavier and any off-road usage will put quite a bit of stress on those studs/adapter not to mention its going to fling anything on the road up on the side of your vehicle because they make the rim protrude so much.

not to mention the pricing, those things are not cheap. In fact, it's like buying a 5-rim set instead of four... Id be :ybrick:

Alright so I'm thinking about Raceline Raptors and they come in 18X9 6X139.7 but come in 3 offsets, -6,12,25. Which will match the spidertrax the closest?

I believe the stock limited wheels have a +25mm offset if I remember correctly. Someone else might know for sure. I know my 17" sport wheels have a +30mm offset. Spidertrax are 1.25" thick or 31.75mm. The effective offset on the factory limited wheel would be 25-31.75= -6.75mm so I believe the -6mm offset should be the closest. On my wheel the effective offset is 30mm-31.75= -1.75mm.

assuming you are correct about the +25 mm offset on the limited wheels, that puts the 0 offset 9" wide wheels vs 7.5" wide wheels another 19.05 mm out on either side, pushing the rims out almost a whole inch past what they are with the spiders or spacers. right? its been a long day of studying, maybe im not thinking of this right. if im right, that inch is going to put a whole lot of dirt and road debris up on the side of the runner. on the contrary, your spidertrax will no longer fit and maybe the adapters will be slightly less wide than the spiders. have i said i wouldn't recommend adapters? i think i remember you having 275's which i hope is at least the case. 9" is going to stretch them out a little bit width wise and anything less might not fit right.

Have you thought about getting your wheels powder coated or painted? Goes back to find a shop that won't give you crap over your spacers.
But if you do go with a bigger offset there is a good chance you will have rubbing. With my 255 and FJ wheels (add .5 off set) wheels I was ok, but when I added my 1.25 spacers I had lot's of rubbing, but it was a easy fix.
I like what you have now but new rims are nice too.

-6 will push them out even further and i can almost guarantee rubbing and most likely pretty bad. (-) offset results in the wheels "farther out," and the opposite for (+). generally, it depends on your vehicle to classify farther out, flush etc. offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel, think about it as the distance from where your rim sits on the studs. 0 offset means there is the same rim width on either side of where the face of your studs sit.

just think about it logically. 1.5" wider rim + 0 or -6 offset=much farther "out"= bad rub=not worth it IMO. with the addition of adapters that are sometimes sketchy, i wouldn't even think about it. i had some pretty - offset rims for my taco and 265's flung anything and everything on the side of the vehicle. a negative offset isn't going to solve your problems, yes they will be farther away from the inside (uca etc.) but think about turning with an extra 1.5" of rim. fender rub is going to be nuts.

its understandable that you want to keep your tires, but just consider shopping around for an 18", 7.5" or 8" wide rim in 6x139.7 (5.5) at 0 offset and you will be much happier and then you can sell your spiders and offset the cost by $100.

as it stands now, with the rim you want being wider the tire is going to be "stretched" and that will not make the diff happy when you throw your old spare on that isn't as stretched when you get a flat. thus meaning you will have to buy 5 rims+adapters and do a CONSIDERABLE amount of trimming.

i would take blue4run's advice and get them powdercoated bronze or something. the color is up to you. [personal rant- murdered out is and has been played out.]

Do the raptors require adapters? If not and hey fit on the stock axle without adapters, but the -6 offset and sell the spidertrax. I wouldnt use adapters imo, gonna push them out too far on an 8 or 9 width.
OR if youre set on the adapters, shoyld probably get a + offset.

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear, I don't want to use spidertrax anymore and I'm trying to use this rim so it gives me an offset that is close to what spidertrax gives me now

you wont be able to use the spidertrax even if you wanted to, they wont fit the new bolt pattern and you cant double up on a spacer and adapter.. that would be horrendous.

my post says in detail that these rims will put your stance quite a bit further out and most likely WILL NOT fit. plan on cutting ALOT, grinding welds and the like.

not trying to crush your dream, but just look at other options. this is too much work and $, IMO, for an aftermarket black rim when manufacturers make a multitude of them.

I don't think you guys are following, I want to get a set of rims that will give off the same, or close, offset that I have right now with spidertrax. I don't want to use adapters, I just want a rim that will give me what I need. Thanks guys!!!
