I changed the fuse box to resolve an electric door lock issue. After switching out the fuse panel, door locks work fine but cannot get key out of ignition when power to battery. I tried the switch on the shift lever and problem still existed.
I pulled the fuse panel and put old one back in and still had the issue. I put the replacement fuse panel back in since it works the door locks. While I had the lower dash cover panel off I thought I would try removing wires from ignition switch to find out which wires are causing the problem with the key removal.
When I unclipped this small bundle the problem went away and the vehicle starts, runs and drives. Does anyone know what these wires are for and if I even need them?
Thanks!
