What do you keep in the little compartment next to the buttons for the moonroof?

I've had my 4Runner for less than a month and have yet to find a clever use for that little space. What do you good folks stash in there? imp:

I don't think there is a garage door remote slim enough to fit in it. That thing was meant to be a card holder. You can upgrade to the 99+ piece which is bigger.

I also store my garage door remote in there, I used the adjustable pins in there so I just push in the compartment door whenever I want the garage to open

That's actually what it's designed for. I don't keep anything in mine, but I am thinking about modding it for fit a scangauge when I get one.

The OP is referring to the 96-98 4Runner's, judging by the 96-98 SR5 in his avatar. These 3rd gens had a much smaller roof console.

I don't put anything in mine because it kept falling open when it was empty.. so I removed the door. :0 I used to keep my sunglasses in it. I'm the garage door opener, so I don't have a remote to put there.

That's correct; mine is a '98 and has the tiny little "card holder" compartment up there. I didn't realize that not all 3rd-gens are like that.

Im pretty sure I spent an hour one day trying to figure out how to get that thing to hold a set of sun glasses on my 98, cause I was sure thats what it was designed for. But nope, its not. Garage door remote makes more sense I guess. I store my crack in there sometimes
