Pick this apart and tell me what to ask for...

Wonder what that added switch on the dash is for. Looks good though, and new floor mats lol. I'd start with the KBB value and go from there. Don't know exactly where you're based out of, but $8.8K seems high for me. Although I know these run for a little more in the Rockies/West coast areas.

I agree with [MENTION=78691]WRWhit93[/MENTION]. That price does seem a little high. Yes, it's nice and clean, but that's what all dealerships so. They take seven cans or tire shine and spray EVERYTHING.

All in all, it looks like it's in good shape - just by looking at the pictures though. Can't really give my .02$ if I haven't test driving the vehicle.

Seems in Oregon (Portland area) That would go for 10k easily and wouldn't sit on a lot or a persons driveway for 24 hours. I paid 11.8 for mine, but mines custom. I looked at others before hand and they are all around 10k with 170k to 225k miles so honestly seems fairly close on the market. I would do what they suggest and offer them KBB, but I would like to ask why your wanting to change from the 98 to the 2000?

Also if you can wait and be patient, a better option will come around...

Looking for this car for my sister.
Always good to have another 4Runner in the family!

Reasons I like this one:
no wood grain dash
manual cloth seats-last longer, lighter weight, less prone to failure.
J-shift transfer case-less electronics to go bad
updated center console with cupholders and updated dash
Headlights, tail lights and other 99+ mods.
no E-locker-can add matching F/R air lockers down the line...
Interior is clean, steering wheel is looking good and that's hard to find.
I like the color!

Just some things to nit-pick. Couple of dents in the rear bumper on the left and the right corners, plus another possible one on the right-front quarter panel above the wheel although that may just be a reflection. Top of the steering wheel looks pretty worn. The driver's door carpet/cloth looks pretty dirty on the pic straight in from the front passenger side. Big old worn spot in the back carpet on the right wheel well.

Wish my trailer hitch looked that clean. Mine's getting all rusty.
