What do you think of this 4Runner?

Its an '01 with 115,000 miles and its only $8495.

The mileage kinda scares me but its extremely clean and looks brand new. I really like it!

Looks clean, mileage isn't too bad assuming maintenance is up to date. See if you can find out if the T-belt service was done. Interesting set up though, its got the larger flares, everything painted black and scoop like a Sport, but then it has wood grain trim inside but no leather, I have never seen that set up before. I would check and see if the wood grain kit was added, see if its just a stick on kit.

I like it too. I also like that the running boards are still there and it hasn't been lifted. Maybe it wasn't used for off roading too much. It also has quite a few options on it.

My 01 has 109,000 miles and runs like a top. My gas mileage is still the same and very little has happened to it.

Being from Ohio, I would look for rust and it would be nice if you can figure out if the timing belt has been changed. My feeling is, it probably wasn't changed. I haven't changed mine yet.

I think the price is decent for a 4X4. If your interested, I would really check it out by a really good shop.

yes check up on that timing belt-price seems too good to be true... that would be about $12-$13K out here easy.

Those seats will probably hold up better than leather anyways on a cold morning.

Sweeet runner, even if the timing belt wasn't changed you can change it your self, just check the engine and trans fluid for sludge on the dipstick.

My 4runner is almost the same setup. I have a limited but i added the hood scoop and the rear spoiler. i would guess thats what you have unless you check the vin and find out for sure. i tried zooming in on the pics but i couldnt tell if that was a rear diff lock or not.

i bought mine with 123xxx miles on it but the entire top end was replaced before i did so. i would snatch it up. good deal, awesome year and totally worth it if it has the rear diff lock.

it looks like a stick on kit from what i can tell, looking at the door picture the kit is raised a bit.

you can look at the engine they will have a sticker if the timing belt has been changed. it should have the date/mileage right on the front of the engine.

looks clean and great price. i had 150k on my 00' before giving it up.

I wouldn't let the mileage scare you. I bought my first 4runner (a '91) with 130k, and I just bought my second one (a '99) with 177k.

I have a friend who bought an '88 (I think) with 295k! Yes, he bought it with that much on the clock.


115 on a Toyota is small time.
