what do you think the best looking tires are on a 3rd gen?

i think these tires are just nasty lookin but they are not cheap

and then there are the Cooper Zeon LTZ's that i swear by but no one else has, and I think they are only available in certain sizes, they look alot more meaty in person, and they are quiet, great in the rain and easy on the wallet

For me, I never cared what tires looked like, but how they performed and how long they would last. Since my 3rd Gen was primarily a daily driver I got Michelin LTX M/S 265/70R16 tires. They've worked really well for me, mostly road driving, some desert dirt roads, some snow. They are quiet on pavement and since I rotate them every 5000 miles, they last me for 65,000 miles! I've had 3 sets of them.
Since each tire costs about $180, that's my way to get value.
If you are primarily a hard core off-roader you need different tires.

I've recently found an awesome tire. Check out the Trailfinder A/T tires at Discount tire. They were designed by discount tire and have a 45k mile warranty. I paid $84 a tire for 265/75R16s.
