What does this go to?

I'm going to be doing an after market seat warmer install and I popped open the center console to make sure the switch will fit in the blank. Does anybody know what the white connector at the bottom of my picture goes to? For reference, the blue one is the DAC, and the white one at the top is the cig lighter.

Thanks for your help!

I don't see a picture.

I don't see a picture either, but most likely its for a smoker's kit that a large percentage of our rigs did NOT come from the factory with .

As the earlier poster said, it is for the smokers kit install. The factory console does not have a cigarette lighter. The 12v power socket is what you are seeing. For those that smoke, or want a 2nd power socket, a smokers kit option is available, that includes an actual cigarette lighter and socket and ashtray, along with the normal 12v outlet. The 'extra' plug you found is for the 2nd power outlet, when the smokers kit is installed.

Ok cool. Thank you for the info!

So for my seat heater install, I should be able to just splice onto the 12v wires for the smoker's kit. Correct?

Maybe not. I would check to see what amperage draw the seat heater kit requires, and then check the supply fuse for the cigarette lighter supply line (the 12v wires you want to splice into) to see if it is adequate for what you want to do. It may be possible that the wiring for the seat heater is already in place, under the seats, since it was a factory option on some models. I seem to recall a thread or two on this subject, a while ago. Do a search on adding seat heaters and try to find it. The info you seek may be there.
