these lights have been on for quite a while. not an uncommon group, research shows, but i still don't know what has been the cause. vehicle runs and drives fine, so i can't be anything serious. TPMS, VSC OFF, VSC TRAC, and slippery car icon. tire inflation seems ok (even pumped up the spare). gas cap??

It would be a complete shot in the dark. I am guessing you are on the younger side of life? When a light comes on, it means you need to have it checked out, not ignore it until its convenient to ask. Thats how shit breaks and costs a ton more than if you had sorted it out sooner.
To answer it, you need to either buy a scanner, go to the dealer or go to a large auto parts store and ahve them hook up their computer to read the codes that are associated with those warning lights. Dont be surprised if there are 5, 10 or more.

abs speed sensor wire.
You will be surprised, but weird lights combination SOMETIMES is malfunctioning of transmission selector switch. Goes bad of wires corrosion or parking on inclined surface, or off roading in deep water or something else.
switch itself like $150. Try not damage transmission rod while replacing switch. To check just disconnect it and see what happened.

The TPMS light could be due to a bad sensor. After a few years (like 7 or 8) the battery in the sensor dies and the computer sees this as a problem and turns on the light. I have a TPMS light on my 2013 SR5 even though all the pressures are good. On my SR5 I don't know which one (or more) is the culprit; so one of these days I'll have them all changed out. Not cheap as previous threads have mentioned.

well said. I get a lot of flak from people because if something isn't running/sounding/operating as it should in my vehicle I either fix it or take it in as soon as reasonable if it's beyond my skills. many folks are of the 'just wait until something breaks' mindset - imagine if that's the approach companies took to manage commercial air craft fleets. would you fly on those planes? keep your vehicle in good working safe order. in an emergency situation you want everything functioning as it should. ABS, VSC, etc etc.
perhaps try posting this in the 4th gen forum for more accurate replies

This is a 4th Gen....
Having owned a 4th gen, possibly two different things going on:
1) Spare tire is low on air and triggering TPMS (yes, the spare is monitored)
2) The mommy switch is turned off or is malfunctioning

i did stop at auto zone for a scan, but they said they only do CEL scanning.
my guess is tpms. they are original to my 2007. i believe have had these lights before, pumped up all 5 tires (spare was around 17 lbs). eventually went off. i'll keep an eye on the pressures. dealers often run free code readings, though i hate going there knowing they will come out with a $5k estimate!

Sounds similar to my problem……
Abs, emergency brake, vac, 4-lo wheel, all lights that come on
Fix was replacing wiring harness on the drivers rear quarter panel…ordered it from Toyota ($230.00)

speaking to toyota service and parts, it is most likely one or more of the TPMS sensor batteries that has failed and has triggered the stability control lights. computer thinks i have low pressure in one or more tires. don't know is there is a way to disable this signal until replacement.
