i know of toytec, daystar, and old man emu (too much $)

please help me decide which one to get

i was thinkin toytec with new shocks, but which shocks lol

i would say the best/cheepest i have found was from summit racing, ill get it here in a bit

I bought PP springs for around $200 on sale and shipped and got monroe gas shocks/struts for 150 shipped. Its not 2.5" but it is way better than putting in spacers on stock springs and you can always go in later and add spacers to the PP springs with some taller shocks. I'll be upgrading to Bilstiens with some steel spacers which will be 3.5" total.

First off, your post somewhat contradicts itself. You said you want to know what the "best 2.5-3 inch lift kit money can buy" is, yet you don't want to spend a lot for it?

Maybe you should have asked: What's the best "affordable" lift kit to buy". In that case, go with Toytec. As far as shocks, their site offers a good few to choose from. Just call up Toytec's customer service and tell them what you want...they can guide you to everything you'll need.

What ever you decide on, just stay away from spacer only kits. They are just a quick and easy fix for a lift. Over time, they give out...simply b/c you're still using your stock coil springs, which in turn sag and become very spongy.
