What is everyone doing with their tax refund this season?

Buying a lot of girl scout cookies from my niece, donating some to the March of Dimes and buying some Nittos for both the Tundra and 4runner.

Normally every year I get 10-15k back and spent 3/4's of it on my 4Runner. I did it last year on my 5th gen...

On August 28th 2015 I went in for a simple surgery...ended up being paralyzed and went straight into another surgery and am very slowly recovering. So lost my 5th gen, had to cash in my retirements to pay for general living expenses and took a huge penalty on them. So I'm now even more broke (if that's possible). On a semi positive note I believe i'm moving in a few months to where I will be only paying 400 for rent and should be able to put some money into the 4Runner!!

Sounds like you need to adjust your W4... That's a free loan to the government!

Looking at either a ct200h f sport or an is350 f sport. Probably end up with the CT. That MPG is so appealing.

The CT200Hs are pretty nice. We considered them a bit ago. I ended up sticking with a prius (plug in) for the wife and I got an IS300 as a fun DD. But a V8 IS350 would be fun.....

Tires. Michelin LTX M/S2s are from the PO, manufactured in 2009 and installed in 2010. Tread's okay but the sidewalls are cracking and one leak has already been plugged. Don't offroad so looking @ low rolling resistance to see if it'll up the mpg.

If you haven't purchased yet, check out Bridgestone's Dueler Alenza Plus. Just put them on daughter's '02. Very impressed!

I got my TBU, and the bushings for my lca's and got a sweet battery mount from ballistic fabrication. Now I just need to get some time to get it all installed.

I had my battery box installed removing the factory top bar. Eventually the box started to break apart from the welds holding it to the engine bay. Without the top bar it just isnt stable over low term use.

It is welded in at multiple points at the bottom of the tray. I guess I can see where that inner fender could eventually weaken, especially with as much of it as I have cut away. However, it is solid and no signs of fatigue and a welded in battery box actually helped to stiffen up the inner fender. If it ever fails it will spur my tube fender project which is waaaaayyyyy down the list at the moment.
