What is it worth?

I'm only asking here because its such a crazy market currently and I dont believe websites like KBB and NADA are taking the market into the equation.

My neighbor is looking to sell his and I'm really interested.

2011
SR5
White on black
Leather and heated seats
Bone stock
67K miles

You should run the VIN through carvana, vroom and CarMax to get an idea. Those numbers are what he could drop it off and walk out with a check for so it's probably a good starting point.

I did that, thats why I'm asking here. Those numbers felt low vs what I'm seeing out there, even as trade in numbers.

Anyone know if Carmax is still going off KBB or are they adjusting for the current market?

4 x 4? If so low $20s I'd say. $23,000?

I have a pearl white 2011 4 x 4 SR5 with 145,000 miles and I wouldn't sell it for $20,000 because I couldn't replace it for reasonable money.

You have to look at numbers in your market. Example, even 3 years ago, you would never see anyone willing to pay above MSRP in the Austin area, but in Colorado and California, you'd see massive markups and they couldn't keep them on the lot. Same is true today with the used market, where you are will dictate the value. My '18TRDP in Texas may pull $36-38K, but in CO or CA, we're probably talking $45-50K

Just a wee bit of unsolicited advice. In Chicago? Check the under carriage first. Make sure your neighbor washed it regularly. Anywhere these trucks live that is corrosive, ie road salt/mag chloride slurries ect. Look underneath before you consider anything.

I totally agree with Grape Ape adjust accordingly for local near region market.
