You sure it's coming from the dash? Your speedo/tach working OK?

Yea speedo and tach work perfect(other than a slight woble on both)

Please always indicate what model-year-engine-transmission-trim we are talking about. 4WD? Manual locking or auto engage diff? Put that on your signature to save everybody's time.
Jack up the front
Inspect tires,
Turn the wheels by hand and feel if they turn smoothly.

Sorry bout that. Its a 1990 v6 sr5 3.0 4wd.I don't have manual hubs yet. and It happened again this morning. The noise sounds like its coming from right behind the dash. It only starts at 25mph. anything under and it stops. My gauges worked at the time but it seemed like my speedo was reading a little fast. I will jack it up today and inspect the front end and grease everything up real good.

Ill try that when I get home. So I figured out that it only does it in the morning when it is cold. I drive it home for lunch and after work and it never happens again. only in the morning at the same time.

Like SaulG says above. Drive without speedo cable turning. Best basic first step.
Then jack up and manually spin wheels
Too bad, u don't have manual locking hub because that would help isolate your axles and CV joints

so last night I checked/greased the front end. everything looked good.I disconnected the speedo cable and then drove around and it didn't make the noise. This morning I put it back in and drove to work and it was fine. I think that it was probably just a little loose or something. Thanks for all the help, I was kinda worried somthin was gonna give out.

sooooooo....... bad new. It started up again </3 I don't know what to check now. Should I take my whole dash off and cruise around?. when it is making that noise the dash cluster vibrates. The tach and speedo both work during the time. I don't kno what to do honest.

While you're driving or at idle?
Not related to AC or fan blower?
Check your front wheels and axle again?

I had a similar noise but on the passenger side of my '91. Primarily happened when it was cold. It would sometimes stop if I hit a bump. Turned out to be the spindle bushing needing to be lubricated. I took take the passenger side down to the knuckle to access the bushing - it's brass. The noise was the cv axle spinning the bushing. If you do a search there are some threads on this being a somewhat common problem with early 2nd gens. If I remember right here's a thread somewhere that describes how to make a lubricating tool so you don't have to strip everything down. If you're going to take apart the hub again just keep going to see if that's your problem.
